Oystercatcher is one place we look forward to staying every time that we visit St Ives. Deborah, Paul and Cleo are the perfect hosts and make you feel like one of the family rather than guests. Oystercatcher is beautifully maintained and ideally located in Carbis Bay. We always choose the master bedroom which is large and has a bay window sitting area with lovely views across the bay. Breakfast is amazing and Paul always cooks the locally sourced ingredients to perfection.

From the warm welcome, to the very high standard of decor to the five star breakfast, this home was a wonderful privilege to share.   Very conveniently located on the bus route in or out of St Ives, with parking, close to the SWCP and a sneaky walk to Carbis Bay hotel for a treat. Simply brilliant.

Isn't it amazing how some people get it all just right! We thoroughly concur with all the other positive reviews. My wife and I enjoyed an excellent weekend for our wedding anniversary, chose the sea view room (a good move) and felt very happy and relaxed with Deborah, Paul and Cleo's warmth and hospitality. A lovely, well maintained house in an ideal area, a great breakfast, lovely bed linen and good conversations. Nothing pretentious, no airs and graces just clean and homely B&B as it should be. We won't bother looking for anywhere else for our next visit. Oh, and thank you so much for the thoughtful touches on our anniversary :-)

The best stay we had in the UK. Paul and deb were so friendly, kind warming and welcoming. Outstanding property and the cleanliness. Breakfast and option were very good. To hard to choose would recommend the eggs benedict and the French toast. Very helpful with places to see and things to do. Thank you so much we will definitely be back to see you all

Our room with sea view was stunning and the room and all was perfect, couldn't see anything we didn't like.
Breakfast was divine!
Great location, safe, carpark space and pubs near by, also places to eat.

Lovely place to stay 
We had the largest room at the front of the house with a bay window that looks out over the bay 
Shower and separate whirlpool bath 
(Definitely the room to have ) 
Deborah Paul and Cleo are lovely 
Nothing is to much trouble
Very clean and looked after property 
Great breakfast and enjoyable morning chats 
On site off street parking is available which is always a must for us 
Will definitely return and would definitely recommend

Amazing stay at Oystercatcher very kind host the place was lovely and the food was amazingly delicious .our room was beautiful clean . It's walking distance to the beach traditional pubs and nearby shops .. very accessible to st Ives centre .. Highly recommended 

Friendly knowledgeable hosts. Room very clean and  spacious with delicious biscuits and fresh milk on the tea tray. Breakfast nicely served, freshly cooked and plenty of it.
There is a bus stop outside the B&B that is good if doing any of the South West Coastal Path

Wow we spent 2 nights with Deb, Paul and Cleo.  It was the highlight of our trip. The room was absolutely stunning and clean. The view over looking the sea was breathtaking.  The bathroom has a separate shower and bath tub. They provided big fluffy towels and beautiful shampoo and soaps.  The clipper tea was my favorite with fresh milk that was available.  Paul is a chef so preparing yourself for the most amazing breakfast!  We didn't eat until dinner each night.  Paul and Deb are both so knowledgeable about the area, gave us great tips and where to eat dinner and hiking in the area.  One of our best walks was right from the bed and breakfast.  

Our stay couldn’t be better! We were treated so well by this very kind and nice family. The place was clean and with a great sea view from the master bedroom. They gave us useful advices where to go and where to eat and we were impressed by the 5 star breakfast made by the chef Paul. We can highly recommend this B&B.
