Lovely location, nice and quiet but only 2 minutes walk to the cliff lift and Shanklin Esplanade. Warm welcome and a very nice, spotlessly clean and comfortable room. Breakfast cooked to order, great selection, and very smooth, fast service. What more can you ask for?  I would recommend this place to any couple looking for a relaxing stay with plenty of peace and quiet.

This is the absolute home from home. Vera bless her is an absolute diamond. Nothing is too much trouble for her. Along side Vera is Carol a lovely lovely lady who makes you feel so welcome to breakfast. The B&B is so comfortable and just like going home. We have stayed here a few times now and have booked again for next year. You will love it.

What a fantastic place. Very clean and a fantastic welcome from Vera.   Our room was big and bed brilliant.  Breakfast was fresh and plentiful.  Set in beautiful grounds very close to all facilities and plenty of parking. Vera is very informative and helpful

What a great place to stay! This was our first visit to Shanklin and I'm so pleased we booked this place.  Our room was beautiful and large with comfy beds. Breakfast very filling and the host Martin very friendly. 
We chose to use the public transport for visiatong the island and the bus stops were close to the hotel. 
Overall very enjoyable experience and we will definitely come back again !

The Knighs Rest is a fantastic wee BnB situated perfectly between Shanklin High St and the seafront. The room (Galahad!) was clean & comfortable, and the street is quiet. The building is really pretty, and the parking is ample. Vera & Martin are wonderful hosts and dish up a cracking full English: we had the veggie version.
My one regret is that we only had a two night stay. Will definitely return.

Great place to stay, locality very good, close to most places to visit, plenty of off road parking. Rooms clean and good. Hospitality exceptional especially the land lady Vera, would definitely recommend ..... a home from home 

We stayed here as our usual place was fully booked.................and so glad it was! What a great place to stay, comfortable beds, lovely room and a tasty breakfast. Vera is so nice and very helpful, nothing is too much trouble. We hope to return in the better weather so we can enjoy the garden next time. I highly reccommend this place for a holiday so wonderful and near the town and the beach (and the buses! ) Cant wait to go back!

Great location, even greater staff - nothing too much trouble, excellent breakfast, clean and comfy a home from home.
Would recommend to anyone as a great base to see the Isle of Wight.
Vera was also very helpful in providing a great discount when contacted about booking the ferry crossings.

Really enjoyed staying here, very clean rooms, loved the knights theme. The hosts were super friendly and couldnt do enough including me help repair my crash helmet.  Food was great and plenty if it. As i was eating my breakfast, i was thinking of any criticism  i could make, and i couldnt . Then as  i ate my toast, i though hello we could do with some marmite on the table here. I  went to get a coffee and there was three jars of Marmite, i kid you not i couldnt fault the place they same to have thought of everything ! Booked in for next year already !

Stayed here for 7 nights Vera and Martin were lovely hosts.Nothing was too much trouble for Vera very attentive cooked a lovely breakfast and room was spotless really comfortable. It felt very homely. Knights Rest is in a good spot on the island  Highly recommended 👌
