I've been staying at this hotel, almost weekly for the last 5 years. The staff often go above and beyond, the rooms may be basic as with all Travelodge hotels but they're clean and well maintained. The food is good and there's a vending machine in reception for midnight snacks. Easy parking is available, although this os off site at a local car park that charges £8.90 per day. I would also like to extend a special thanks to Chrissy in reception. She's polite, friendly, always has has a smile, and goes the extra mile to make you feel welcome, thank you!!

    What was good

    Everything including cheerful helpful Staff.

    Not having to check out until 12.00 noon.

    What was bad

    I had a double room on ground floor with Street view, for privacy purposes it meant keeping curtains drawn and keeping light on.

    Surely all ground floor rooms need to have either net curtains or some other type of cover.

    Also, ideally two chairs would be useful in double rooms.
