Beachview Guest House Accommodations

Beachview Guesthouse is a simply beautiful property in the perfect location. We were a bit unsure when we arrived as the front door and front steps could do with a lick of paint. The bar next door worried us a bit but when we got inside to our suite, the Vortex Room, we were so pleasantly surprised. My partner is rarely moved by holiday accommodation, but he couldn't stop smiling at how beautiful the room was. We both felt it was like a home from home, very cosy and comfortable. That bed is AMAZING too - so comfortable. The other spare single bed which doubled as a cute settee was also amazingly soft and comfortable. We actually found it hard to get out of that bed in the morning!! The bathroom, with stand alone bath and large shower, was simply beautiful. The light throughout the room was wonderful and despite the scaffold on the property next door (which we had been warned about) we still had a superb sea view., which was lovely to wake up to every morning. The owner left some very nice touches when we arrived, a vase of fresh flowers, some toiletries and fresh, clean towels and bedding and a clean ironing board (crucial for my partner, he does all the ironing) and a superb iron! The bar next door didn't pose any problems and actually had good entertainment every night which finished dead on 11pm every night, so didn't cause us a problem at all. Shops are close by, restaurants around the corner and the Old Town is more like a small street in the best parts of London, but without the dirty traffic. Your stay in Margate will be wonderful if you stay at the Beachview. Don't go anywhere else!!
