Absolutely amazing accommodation, stunning location too. The kitchen was well equipped, the beds were amazing as so comfy and the welcome pack was a lovely suprise. The hot tub was very relaxing and the games room is very well equipped. 
It's nearby to Aberaeron, Aberystwyth and an hour's drive from Devils Bridge railway and walks. Lampeter has lovely pubs, cafes (Grannys Kitchen) and a Co-op and Sainsbury's.
This cottage deserves a top award!

Myself, husband, 3 kids and our dog stayed in Beudy Bach cottage for a restful mothers day long weekend. On arrival we were greeted by a friendly farm dog. The cottage is wonderful. A beautiful, cozy retreat which was well equipt and homely. We immediately felt at home and were surprised & delighted to find that the owners Gwen & Dai had left us some lovely treats. With it being a working dairy farm we had been left some gorgeous fresh milk & also a vanilla and blueberry flavour which were delicious. They also left us some Welsh cakes & Bara Brith which was so so kind of them. In the morning we were so happy to meet more farm dogs who were just gorgeous & delighted us throughout our stay with their waggy welcomes. There is a fenced in garden so our little dog could go outside & a lovely seating area and hot tub. We loved going in the hot tub with the views of the beautiful countryside & mooing of the cows. There are a couple of big trees near the cottage which were a haven for the bids who sang their hearts out for us. Watching the bids & hearing them sing was a real highlight for me. I’ve never seen so many happy birds, it was amazing. The farm is about a mile from Lampeter which was a lovely little town. There is a Sainsbury’s there so you can get shopping. Right next to the Sainsbury’s is a milk bar run by the farm where you can get milk & milkshakes. I would highly recommend a trip to the milk bar, the milk is amazing. We had chocolate, Nutella and rhubarb & custard flavours. There is also a brilliant games room that you can use attached to the cottages. We had some fun times playing table tennis, pool & table football in there. We also borrowed a board game to play from the cupboard in the games room which has many board games, card games, dvd’s & books to borrow. I can’t speak highly enough about this little gem of a place. Gwen,Dai & family were friendly & helpful. Thank you so much for a truly wonderful stay.

Really enjoyed our late Aug/early Sep week here where we experienced a high quality and comfortable break .  The door was open ready for us and we walked into a very spacious, welcoming and extremely clean and covid-compliant cottage with ample space for 2 adults and 3 teenagers.  The cottage is very well equipped indeed - as well as a host of kitchenware there is also hairdryer/tongs/hair straightner available if you fancy sprucing yourself up after a very relaxing dip in the hot-tub!   The tub is positioned on a private decking area with the most beautiful view of the surrounding countryside and there is a good sized table/6 chairs alongside it for outdoor dining.  There is also a great games room - table tennis, table football, pool table, darts (magnetic but great fun) plus board games to borrow.  There is plenty to see/do and the cottage website has lots of ideas.  If you're members of the Nat Trust, make sure you have your membership card handy.  Locally there are 2 supermarkets - Sainsburys plus Co-op and there are all the usual facilities in Lampeter too which is just a few mins drive away.    Gwen, Dai and their family were unobtrusive but always easily contactable if you needed them. Must also mention the very friendly 'meet and greet' service offered by the farm dogs who never failed to come and say hello when we set off and returned from day trips.  Although we stayed late summer, I can also imagine the cottage being brilliant for a cosy winter/Christmas break.  (There are some nice little 'sense of place' touches thoughout the cottage so that you felt part of the area and didn't feel you were staying 'just anywhere')

We were absolutely delighted to have found this place as it had everything we wanted on paper but wow it did surpass our expectations. These cottages have everything you need for a fantastic holiday.
We arrived late Saturday afternoon and although no-one was about, the keys were in the door waiting for our arrival and the cakes were on the table- a lovely touch.
The cottages are across the yard from the owner’s farmhouse and situated between the house and the cow barns. They have three lovely friendly dogs who are roaming around all the time and to the delight of our girls followed the everywhere. We had our own dog with us too but that wasn't a problem , as we didn't let him roam free around the farm.
Inside of the cottage was decorated ready for Christmas and was homely and warm. The log burning fire was delightful and we became very good at lighting it by the end of the week! 
The bedrooms were large and had plenty of storage space and the bathrooms too were a good size. There were towels, toilet rolls, soap etc..all provided. There was even some nightlights for the bedrooms because it gets awfully dark at night when there are no street lights.
The kitchen facilities were also good. We used the dishwasher daily and brought along our own tablets. We also used the washing machine too. There were numerous utensils, pots,pans, glasses, crockery and cutlery- We've never stayed anywhere with so much choice!
The hot tub was simply amazing. There was enough room for 6 of us to be in together (4 adults and 2 children) and we would sit in there most nights looking at the  millions of stars .
The farm is in a quiet location with Lampeter town being a ten minute drive away. Other main towns like Cardigan , Aberystwyth and Aberaeron were approx 40-50 minutes by car and we had a great time exploring the beaches, nature reserves and local restaurants during the day time.
Gwen and Dy were very friendly and helpful, giving us advice about where to go or just stopping for a chat. Our girls loved the freedom of the farm and especially enjoyed visiting the cows in the barn.  Dy let them help out with feeding the calves and by the end of the week they were both very knowledgeable and extremely sad to be leaving. 
Thoroughly recommend these cottages and indeed we are going back at Easter- can’t wait!

Had a wonderful time in hen Ysgubor cottage, dai and gwen were lovely hosts and kept the cottage well stocked with all you need, lovely to have a wander on the farm and a tour of the milking process, excellent facilities for my wife who is in a wheelchair, plenty of room.in the bedroom for our hoist, very friendly dogs at the door to greet you, shame we had bad weather all week but we managed a few trips out, the hot tub was most welcoming even in the wind and rain. Hope to visit again.

Perfect accommodation, very comfortable. Excellent views. Owners are on site but not intrusive. Very useful utility room, clothes dry overnight. Hot tub is added bonus. Tesco grocery delivery is very useful. Lampeter is looking tired, many businesses have closed. There are two supermarkets in town. A few nice coffee shops. I highly recommend Gwaffynon for a relaxing break.. 

A Perfect Time with the family.
Everything is prepared to enjoy our time in Wales. Even our dog has a splended Holiday. All creature comforts are seen to. Arriving at 03.00 a.m. in gust and rain, there was a nicely prepared, cosy and warm Home welcoming. 


Absolute loved this place. Amazing views and a beautiful cottage. Hot tub was great and the views from it were just wonderful. Not far from Newquay beach. The owners were very kind and always there if you needed anything. The cottage is spotless, and has everything there to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Would like to thankyou very much for a wonderful stay. And hopefully be back soon.

We are just back from 5 days at Gwarffynnon Farm cottages. We stayed in Hen Ysgubor cottage and from the moment we arrived till the day we left the Davies family could not have been more pleasant and helpful. On arrival there was a lovely selection of cake to have with a brew which went down very well. The cottage itself was spotless and wanted for nothing, the beds are so comfy it made it that bit harder to  get up in a morning :) Each room was very nicely laid out and had plenty of storage space and each was also on-suite. The kitchen had everything anyone could ever need for a short or long stay and again was large and bright, just like all the other rooms. :) We managed to pick sunny days all the time we were there so never got chance to get to use the log fire, much to my wifes annoyance :) The best bit of all has to be the Hot Tub and we spent plenty of time relaxing in it just looking out over the beautiful countryside, there was a Hot Tub with both of the cottages and both were quite private from each other. I can honestly say this is by far the best Holiday Cottage we have ever stayed in and would !00% recommend that people try it. We shall be heading back there later in the year with the rest of the family so we can all "chill out" :) Personally I cant wait :)
