We stayed in the Hepworth room in early July and had the most wonderful time. Wish we could've stayed longer! Amanda went far above and beyond to make sure we felt welcome and had everything we needed. So, so glad we chose to stay here out of all the B&Bs and hotels in the area. Perfect location, comfortable rooms, and a lovely atmosphere. Would highly recommend to everyone. Hope to return one day with more of our family!

We have been coming to St Ives for 25 years and always wanted to stay at this place due to its central location.  We weren’t disappointed with the convenience that it provided! 
The building is very old and quaint with its sloping floors and compact staircase.  
We stayed in the Wallis room which was comfortable and well equipped.  Breakfast is not provided as there are so many food outlets in the town so it isn’t an issue.  There is something very luxurious about sitting on one of the nearby beaches with a cup of tea and a breakfast bap!
We had a lovely stay here and would recommend to anyone.  Will definitely check availability next time we visit!

This B&B is faultless, the location is perfect, a stones throw from the harbour, the breakfasts are delicious and Amanda couldn't have been more helpful. The room was a great size and spotless with a very comfy bed. We will 100% be back.

We traveled to Newquay for a short 3 night break. We were warmly welcomed buy owerers and found it to be a perfect,clean and safe place to stay meeting the requirements of social distenceing effectively.

Rooms nice and comfortable catering for a good night's rest. The breakfast was everything you needed to set you up for your day.

Location is close to center of Newquay which bars and restaurants within walking distance.

We will definitely be back without a doubt cannot speak highly of St Bernards..... excellent in every way.

Comfortable , convenient , welcoming . What more can you ask . The room was well fitted out with some nice personal touches ( especially the milk bottles nothing worse than those little sachets ) Lovely view of the harbour . The stairs going up to the room are a little hazardous if you are a bit creaky . They are the equivalent of stairs leading below deck on a yacht .  The Anchorage couldn’t be better situated for exploring St Ives .

I stayed for 8 nights in glorious Room 1 at the very top with a view of the harbour. Like staying in a little historic dollhouse! Staff so friendly and helpful. Breakfasts great. Back in Sydney, I feel homesick for The Anchorage, St. Ives!

 Superb position 2 mins from.beach lovely room hostess and breakfast everything you could need in room and fridge provided for guest use in lounge/ reception and very good value for August

The Anchorage was perfect for me and my sister last September. We had the wonderful Room 2 - very comfortable beds, large well equipped bath, small fridge, and plenty of storage room for our five day stay. It was clean as a whistle and well stocked with tea making fixings, biscuits, and the like. Full English breakfast was wonderful and Sian and Jackie took such good care of us. In an ancient, picturesque building and close to everything in town. A bakery next door. Excellent location! I would highly recommend this place - we want to return and will stay here again if we can.

Great little bed and breakfast in the centre of St. Ives.Stayed in the top floor apartment which had fabulous views over the rooftops to the sea and beach.
Stairs to the room may be a little difficult to navigate for the less mobile guests so would suggest you book rooms on the lower levels.
This was our first time in St. Ives and were made to feel so welcome by the marvellous Jackie who was a wonderful host.
Bed and breakfast is centrally located and would  have no hesitation in  recommending it to family or friends
This was our first visit to St Ives and would book the Anchorage if or rather when we return.

The B and B is in a very old building. Our room was in the loft.  The expression 'climbing the stairs' was very apt as the access is steep and narrow but we aren't tall people, our heads survived.  We loved the quirkiness of it.  Sian, our hostess, was brilliant and the breakfasts are huge.  Well-cooked and satisfying.  The Anchorage is ideally placed for exploring St Ives and Sian is very knowledgeable about the area.  There is no parking at the B & B but Sian can sort parking for you at at local car park - sorry can't remember how much this cost.
