Stayed here as a couple early September and found it to be very friendly and welcoming. On arrival there was ample off street parking and we were greeted by Sue who was friendly and helpful. We were given a lovely room which was clean and comfortable, well equipped and with a four poster bed. Breakfast was perfect with a good choice available. There were several pubs/restaurants within easy walking distance for dinner. We went to "The Globe Inn" and "The Lord Bute" both of which proved great places to eat. Overall Castle lodge s a great little guest house and I would definitely stay there again. Both Sue and Keith were lovely hosts.
