It's an old coach house which still maintains a lovely atmosphere and welcoming charm.  Good Food, Lovely Staff.  Always stop here when visiting friends and family.

Best thing was having a bar and food available, ehich negates the need to eat out. Staff, a d the locals were very pleasant

Called in for a quick drink today, Friday 20 September.  The barman was exceptionally welcome and friendly as were all the drinkers.
The place was clean, tidy and the Moretti Lager was perfect. Even though we had a couple of boisterous Beagles with us, nothing was too much trouble. They were even treated to some snacks from behind the bar. Absolutely our favourite pub on our visit to West Wales.  Definitely recommend...

This is our second stay in The Salutation Inn. We really enjoy our stays here. The rooms are comfortable, the service excellent, the food is good quality and reasonably priced, and there is a good selection of drinks - again, reasonably priced. We love this area, so plan to come here again ASAP.

A lovely setting.All staff excellent.Room very comfortable, en suite could do with a make over.But plenty of constant hot water with a good pressure in the shower.Breakfast was wonderful Excellent value for money.

My sister & I had walked the coast path from Goodwick, taking footpaths from Newport to The Salutation Inn...we were so pleased to see it! A perfect place to stay after a long walk, refreshing beer in the bar before being shown our room. Very good dinner in the dining room later. The staff were very friendly & welcoming. Good breakfast before we left.

The Salutation Inn

We had a great stay at the Salutation Inn, the staff were helpful and friendly, the pub had a great atmosphere and the food was great. The accomodation was clean, the bed comfortable. The bathroom was however dated, with painted tiles and had signs of damp on the cieling from a leak.That said we would  e happy to stay again.

The staff were very friendly, the room was clean and comfortable although the bathroom was a little dated but everything functioned well, we had an evening meal which was excellent and the breakfast was cooked to order and wholesome one of the best breakfasts enjoyed. We only stayed one night on our way to Ireland convenient for ferry port of Fishguard.

Friendly and convenient with Great food.

Reading the previous reviews, what do these people want for £80 a night with breakfast.The hotel room is big,with a large bathroom and excellent shower.The pub itself has a lovely atmosphere and the .meals we had were good value and tasty.The staff were very friendly and an added bonus all of them spoke Welsh.Being a Welsh speaker myself it was so nice to hear our mother tongue .Would u stay again, definitely, Yes.

Staff were friendly, breakfast was great,  hot food baskets were very substantial,  great atmosphere in the bars,  nice local pub with nice local customers.  Great to see a pool table.  Accommodation was basic but sufficient for a two night stay. Parking ready, safe and more than sufficient We'll be back.

Great find in the South, West of Wales.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Salutation Inn, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The staff's warm welcome and attentiveness stood out immediately. The room was neat and clean.Throughout my stay, the hotel's amenities exceeded my expectations. The on-site dining offered a delightful range of culinary options, and all the dishes were prepared from the ingredients sourced locally. I highly recommend the place.

A very warm welcome at this rural country pub .It had obviously just been modernised ;recently constructed conservatory housed a light and airy dining room . All bedroooms were ensuite ,with very comfortable beds ,nice white quilts,decorated very simply with a Welsh wool throw and a cushion bearing the Welsh flag . Although it was at the side of the road we were unable to hear any road noiise and there was a lovely ,extensive garden with lots of dense greenery and plenty of gardenseats .DEFINATELY a lovely , calm place to stay

Everyone was friendly and mostly accommodating but there was quite a few issues.fiest main bit was the bed.we were given the wrong type room and wasn't meant to be a dble/twin room it was meant to be a dble room and also the dble put from twin beds in the room was sooo so uncomfortable/worst for wear and we had to turn it over and there was springs etc hurting us really badly and still suffering now and my other half already has pain problems which were too made worse.i had none til I slept there.we also once turned over it was better but still uncomfortable and with 2 seperate sheets not a dble sheet to help it stay together.it was then uncomfortable to even try to cuddle together as we are a couple with quite a gap in middle.also we were then really itchy more on e changing the bed and did get bitten alot.sleot bad most of the time both of us.the shower was broken soo we could not use it and the bath had fixed cracks in it and mould blk mould starting from it being quite damp room and bathroom due to no window.shame really as a great location and most staff great.nice little place.the steak I had was really bad and could not eat it and did cost alot too!.had hardly any toilet roll in room soo had to keep asking to get this filled up and mugs in there was not swapped.over or sugar filled.amd asked all the time for stuff.for me breakfast was okay but maybe very basic and small and having to be very clear what u ask as they weren't too generous with it and pretty basic.

Uncomfortable

Have used this Inn many times over the years. They allow us to stay in our motorhome overnight on their car park, in return we have meals and drinks. Staff always welcoming and friendly. There is an added benefit of a laundry room with large machines to get your mid holiday laundry washed and dried. Self serve machines, but you do need to take your own laundry liquids as there are no vending machines. We set the machines running then go and enjoy a meal, food has always been good and this year the Thatchers Gold went down really well. The Inn is only a short drive to Newport Sands, a lovely bay with toilets and cafe, but as from this year on beach parking has been banned. Still a great beach to visit though with shallow slope so good swimming and life guards present as well. All in all a great Inn in the wonderfully name village of Felindre Farchog.
