The White Swan

Me and my partner went there as a weekend get away from big cities for our anniversary. The White Swan and it’s staff were very accommodating and welcoming. I informed them of the reason for our stay and upon entry to the room we were greeted with a lovely card, box of chocolates and a full sized bottle of Pinot blush. The food was lovely and everything was a good price. We had a great time staying, eating and drinking here!

We stayed here for a night while visiting family in Rasen. Found the room warm and cosy, nice to see decent pillows instead of flat ones! Good shower and comfy bed. Couple of things  could do with attention.. radiator is rusty and crack in the sink but wouldn't stop me from booking again.

Just been to the Swan for tea......fabulous food, great service and under new management.  Highly recommend this pub . The landlady is warm and welcoming, the gin selection is vast and the menu is very good. Zac in the kitchen prepared a fabulous feast for us and it was delicious.  Definitely give this pub a try, you wont be disappointed. 5 🌟 🤩

Stayed in the area for a few days and the swan was my favourite place .very clean ,the food was spot on , the locals and the staff were very welcoming .I cannot praise them all enough .many thanks and I shall be there again soon .

Booked two rooms for my self and wife and my friend and his wife for a Saturday night stay before we went to Lincoln for the day and checking in was smooth and easy and order are breakfast at same time was to there was live music that night a heavy metal band and would be on till 12 pm  yes it was loud but we went up-to the room about 11.30 and could here it but stopped at 12 so it never interrupted are sleep the room it’s self was small but very well equipped and plenty of tea coffee and milk and biscuits
Bathroom very good size to with complementary soaps and shower gel bedding very clean only thing could fault was room needs a good dusting on the fixture and fitting breakfast was very hot and nice good service from staff over all very happy with the white swan

Booked a night stay here as I was attending a function with my employer in the area.  As on many different advice/ opinion apps, the reviews were all quite mixed and some of the negative ones are not very realistic, it’s a few rooms above a pub.  What the White Swan offers is more than reasonable for the price- so get a grip negative Nancies!  There were some comments about noise of events and traffic, which I took into consideration before choosing my room, so I tried to figure out which room would be best.
I arrived a little after 4pm, and the already quite small parking lot was filling up quickly, but managed to find a spot for my little car.  Walked into the back of the pub where I was checked in and paid.  It was explained to me that there was live entertainment tonight, and I said not a problem as I was going to be out late.  He also told me they don't have a chef so breakfast would be Continental and left outside my door- no problem!  Another gentleman showed me to my room and also showed me how to get in after hours from the parking area.
I chose room 6.  It's the smallest room and is tucked away in the back corner, perfect for a couples overnight stay, or for one like myself.  Bathroom is plenty big, with a nice corner shower- lots of hot water and and great water pressure, toiletries and a hair dryer- plenty of towels too!  Bed was very comfortable.  Tea and coffee offered, but my kettles filter at the pourer was damaged and there was a lot of lime scale even though I tried rinsing, I had to skip that. 
Overall I had a nice stay and I will certainly return in the future!  I do recommend booking through their website, better prices and they reduce the price if just one guest is staying!
I will be back!

We stayed last night after a day out at the races. Parked a big van in the tight car park before walking to the course( to the amusement of racegoers, who were drinking in rhe marquee in rhe car park, all good natured)! On arriving back after a great day  we checked in and got the keys to the room. The towels and sheets were fresh and the room clean. We stayed in the bar for a while and enjoyed the band, then went up. The noise from the band was loud, but we had expected this so definitely not an issue. The bed was also very comfortable. Staff polite and friendly, would definitely stay again. 

We came here for a meal and brought our dog with us.  We were able to sit in the bar rather than just outside.  The staff were very friendly and accommodating.  They even cooked a chicken breast for our dog.  The food was homemade and very tasty.  We would recommend the white swan over and over.  Great atmosphere and great food.

Rang last minute and booked a double room. Amazing service. Lovely friendly staff. Martin and Tracy thank you very much. Bed so comfortable. Very clean. COVID systems in place which were first class. Pub is a really great traditional pub. The breakfast was perfect. You could not ask for more. What a start to the day!

We was staying at little owls camp site for the whitsun holiday with some friends and decided we all wanted to go out for a meal.. I contacted the white swan at the beginning of the week to see if they could accommodate 24 people for a meal. 
We decided that a pre order would work best so the tables were booked for 4.30 for us to eat at 5pm. 
The meals started to come at exactly to the time they were large portions and hot considering there was 24 of us. 
The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful nothing was too much trouble. The food was amazing. Will definitely book again if we visit market rasen.

Anniversary Weekend Getaway

Chose this place for location and I have to say was very impressed by the standard of 
service and quality of the food for a town center hotel/pub. although the menu is not extensive still enough to choose from and all at a great price. The food we chose was cooked perfectly and very good portion size. Wound definitely recommend this if your in the area and looking for something to eat. WELL DONE AND KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK

Fabulous!!

We stayed here for 3 nights and overall it was a bit chaotic (problems with manager apparently). The food was good and very reasonably priced, the rooms were clean and comfortable but the music from the pub was a bit obtrusive. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly coping with the problems they had. Tracey even changed our room because the picture on our TV disappeared! I'd go again if I was in the area

Good Saturday night stay

Stayed at the White Swan for one night on a house buying trip. The room itself was pleasant with a comfortable bed and a good en suite with plenty of hot water. There was some damp and this should be rectified. We had a meal in the restaurant which was pleasant enough at the price and a hearty full English breakfast in the morning. There was a karaoke night on and the volume was loud until around midnight but managed to sleep okay.

Overall as an overnight stop it served the purpose well and was value for money. Would stay again.

The room was very basic could do with a deeper clean couldnt walk bare foot on floor as could feel muck in carpet bathrooms are nice lovely modern shower we were suppose to have breakfast but not provided also not informed before our visit only stayed 1 night instead of 2 as the saturday evening you had to drink from plastic glasses not good
