It's good to find such a place in the middle of a large town. Amanda was very welcoming and helpful. We briefly chatted with her husband, Matthew, and also with the lady who was doing the cleaning and both were also very pleasant. The room was clean and comfortable. On a hot night we were glad of doors which opened on to a small balcony. Chairs and table are provided on the balcony and even cushions for the chairs kept inside the bedroom. The ensuite was tiny but very cleverly arranged so that everything fitted in. Toiletries were provided and also a good supply of tea, coffee and biscuits. The shower, TV and wifi all worked well. Breakfast was nicely cooked. Guests have the option to sit in their rooms or sit in the lounge and there are many CDs, DVDs and books which can be used if wished. We shall bear this place in mind if in the area again.
