Redbrick House

My partner, pet dog and I had a wonderful stay in Redbrick Woodland Lodges - Cedar. The lodge was very clean and spacious. The bed was super comfy. The lodge is located towards the back of the grounds, making it very quiet and private. The Park Manager was very helpful and responsive to any questions we had. The hot tub was great, and much needed after long days of hiking through the Peak District. The only downside was the tub had way too many chemicals in, making it very very foamy! The lodge had almost everything needed for our stay, including a big smart Tv and decent wifi. Our only comment would be to add a bread knife and some baking trays. We ordered a Chinese takeaway from China Moon. The food was great and had quick delivery despite it being Saturday night - we ordered way too much as always! We hired the telescope for star gazing which was a good extra. There was a little light pollution from the external lights, so it would be good if there was an option to switch these off, or a dedicated star gazing area on site. Overall had a wonderful stay and will hopefully be back in the future - maybe to stay in The Barn as it looked amazing!
