Me and my girlfriend came for our valentines celebrations and we couldnt of picked a better place, Amanda and her husband are very friendly and welcoming, rooms are very clean and homely, breakfast was delicious, thank you so much would definitely consider visiting again

If you are looking for an overnight stay, this is a must. We had one double room and one single room, both were absolutely beautiful 😍 There was ample parking as well. The breakfast in the morning was delicious, and our hosts were so friendly, we would definitely stay there again. We were surrounded by countryside, even though it's only a short drive to Gretna ☺️

Really quiet place in the middle of nowhere yet you can get to it from a couple of mins from the motorway, room was clean and well decorated, plenty of water pressure in the shower and the breakfast was great.

The owner is very friendly and while we only used this as a single night stop off on a roadtrip it would make a very good place to book for a few nights and see the local area as plenty of interesting sights to see and very conveniant to get to Glagow and Carlile etc,

We stayed a couple of nights en route home from Oban. Fantastic value! Nothing was too much trouble for Amanda...and the breakfast was cooked to order perfectly. She was so welcoming and very knowledgeable about the area. Will definitely be back.

This is a lovely little B& B. A very warm welcome Amanda and Mick.The room is spotless with very good quality bed linen. Everything you need for a short stay or overnight stop is here. The breakfast cooked by Amanda and eaten in her kitchen was truly wonderful.

We stayed here as a stop off as we were driving from Exeter to Edinburgh. The host, Amanda was lovely and so welcoming, we felt instantly relaxed on arrival and the room was absolutely beautiful and looked so comfortable, the bed was amazing and I had such a good sleep which is rare for me, Amanda was so helpful advising us where we needed to go to get food without too much inconvenience for us and I thoroughly enjoyed talking about cats ☺ would highly recommend this place to stay for a wonderful relaxing night away and bless Amanda she listened to my need for strong coffee in the morning and breakfast didn't disappoint... We are going to book direct next time instead of going through booking 

Great cottage 
Highly recommend this beautiful cottage stayed over with family booked friday to monday , but left sunday due to bad weather,  amanda was very welcoming,  everything needed in the cottage, cant recommend it enough.

Amanda and Mick are great hosts, friendly and welcoming but not intrusive. 
Only 1 night as a stopover in the way to Scotland.  Slept well in my cosy well equipped room and was served a delicious breakfast before leaving. Would recommend!

I do not know where to begin.  glorious setting, so quiet.  My room was spotless with everything I needed.  Amanda cooked a full breakfast in her fabulous kitchen.  I felt very safe and comfortable here, I could easily have stayed for longer.  If I ever visit Scotland again Broadlea will be my first port of call.  I highly recommend this B and B.
Amanda and Mick are perfect hosts and did their very best to make my stay a good one.  They succeeded 100%

When we ran into difficulties over timings, they were very helpful about cancellation. We were really looking forward to staying there- it looks a million miles away from those chains whose employees have no investment.
