One of the best places to eat in Pembrokeshire. The food is always excellent, served by friendly staff, and nothing is to much trouble for them. Great place for parties, business meetings and weddings, especially as they have a licence so you can get married there aswell as having the wedding breakfast, and evening do. They also have rooms and chalets so the whole family can stay for a wedding and they do a great breakfast the following morning.

Would i recommend their Christmas Dinner .... Absolutely.. it was fabulous,  lovely food lovely staff lovely dinner. Totally stuffed , will have to lay down now for the rest of the afternoon . And I got to meet a new puppy , Absolute Heaven 

I’ve stayed in many hotels, of all shapes and sizes. Never have I had such a warm, courteous and friendly welcome. This team could not have done more to make my stay comfortable. Service and individual attention was excellent and I was looked after so well. 

The rooms are clean, comfortable - nothing fancy, but pride has been taken in their presentation. 

Good bar food - all served with a smile and a warm conversation. Thank you for looking after me so well.

This place is a little treasure and I would recommend it to anyone.

Excellent Sunday lunch, 110% wouldn't find better in Pembrokeshire, everytime you get fantastic, flavoursome lunch. Nothing to much trouble to make your visit very enjoyable , and served by very friendly cheerful staff.

We stayed here after searching for hotels anywhere near Haverfordwest and chose this one. Really pleased we did as the staff were very helpful and we enjoyed our meal both nights. Great breakfast, lots of parking and kept clean. Think we had the last room with the late booking but then we were only there for sleeping.

Nothing is too much trouble for the family and team of staff here. Excellent service , attention to detail, great menu for coeliacs , my number one stay in Pembs. Car parking, large rooms, well run, lovely food

From start to finish this was a brilliant stay. Plenty of parking  a warm welcome at reception.  Room was spacious,  well equipped and absolutely spotless.  Diner was well cooked,  delicious and great value. The staff were magnificent,  friendly helpful and eager to please.  If you are staying in the area, this is the place to book. 

We stayed at Nant-Y-Ffin for 4 nights in July 2021.

The hotel doesn't have much in the way of kerbside appeal when you arrive and some of the furniture and decor is a bit dated, but these are very minor points and I think the staff do all the important things really well. 
We had a very nice stay.

Our chalet room was large, spacious, well furnished and very clean. It had a lounge, bedroom and bathroom with a large bath and powerful shower. There were TVs in the lounge and bedroom. We were able to park right outside the door.

The staff were all very polite, friendly and efficient.
Breakfast was very good.
Evening meals were fairly priced, very well presented and of excellent quality.

There are well tended, tree lined gardens to sit in when the weather allows and an outside undercover area as well as an indoor lounge, for when it doesn't.

There isn't much to do in the immediate vicinity, but the central location, just off the A40, makes it really easy to drive to all of Pembrokeshire's coastal areas and attractions to the North, South and West.

Just one minor gripe, there was very little sound proofing between our chalet and the one next door, so we could clearly hear all of what went on next door.

I would highly recommend Nant-Y-Ffin for a Pembrokeshire holiday base.

How good is this place

We (4 of us) had been let down by another hotel, so this was the only hotel that had 2 rooms available for our date, wasn’t expecting much but thought it would be better than nothing. What a surprise, from. The initial phone call to book to arriving we thought was it price per person and not per room. The hotel is immaculate, foyer, dining area,  room, even outside is so clean and well presented. The staff are all very courteous and nothing is too much problem for the. The breakfast is brilliant, pick what you want, enjoy some cereals while waiting for full English breakfast to arrive. When it arrived we were not disappointed, hot, fresh, very tasty and enough to fill the most hungry guest.
The bed, shower and room offering was more that adequate. Wo7ld like to say thank you to the whole team

Due to the COVID everything a little different. Meals in the room. Was fine. People very kind. Room large enough. Nice bathroom. Car comfortable outside the window. Was recommended by friends and they were right. My new favourite place in south west Wales.

Sunday lunch at The Nantyffin Hotel, Llandissilio, Pembrokeshire.

Excellent in every way

We only stayed for two nights in a chalet in the motel part of the property. There is an abundance of parking, outside your room if you wish. The room was very clean and well equipped. The evening meals were fine and the breakfasts substantial (wonderful bacon). 
There isn`t a great deal to do in the immediate area but the hotel makes a great base for a variety of towns/beaches/castles not too far away. 
As mentioned in other reviews, the staff are terrific and made our stay a very nice one.

Nice family run hotel in a good location for a Pembrokeshire holiday

Too good too miss

My parents were celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary  and we decided to host a party for friends and family. Being my parents favourite place to eat we booked the venue and without any fuss menu’s were sent out and venue booked via a simple email.

On the night despite not having previously requested we arranged for drinks on arrival which was sorted within 5 minutes -seating plan amended and the night progressed from amazing to outstanding- nothing was too much trouble and the attention to detail and attentive staff made our job of hosting very easy - no stone was left unturned 

Whilst all staff were exemplary a special mention must be made to the Proprietors who went out of their way to speak to my parents and accommodate us in every way possible and Steve Jones who during the evening was pre-empting whatever we needed to do next accommodating our every wish with such ease it was astounding and a very rare quality 

Whilst eating out is something we do regularly and hosting events I can honestly say we cannot remember a time in years when we have received such 5 star treatment and not withstanding the quality of the food and choice of menu it really was superb.

Nant-y-Ffin is a family run business which holds true to the quality of how the business is run.

Thank you so much for delivering a night that will always be remembered and one that will hold a very special memory for us all - no words can ever express our gratitude sufficiently 

A Family Run Business Delivering a 5 Star Service

I stayed here for two nights while working in the local area. 
This is a lovely friendly hotel with nice rooms and great food! 
The room i had was in a row of terrace bungalows  with parking outside. The double bed was very comfortable and the shower had great water pressure! 
Bring your own hairdryer. 
The owners and staff are all so lovely and welcoming! 
The restaurant had a great menu and the food was fresh, beautifully cooked and presented as if it was a top london establishment. 
The function room was set out for a group christmas dinner but the owner told me they also cater for weddings.i will definitely stay here again!

Fabulous!

Staying locally at a B & B in Llandissilio we ate here twice.  On each occasion we received a warm welcome and really excellent, attentive service.  The menu was varied and always cooked and served to a very high standard. We plan to revisit Pembrokeshire again next year and are already have the Nant-Y-Ffin at the top of our list as our place of choice to stay.  Thanks to all staff at the Nant-Y-Ffin!
