Gorgeous wood cabin lodges set in an idyllic countryside! Very friendly host.
Homemade bread, tea, coffee & sugar provided. Everything you need is provided - towels, washing up liquid, cloth & sponge, salt & pepper, dishwasher tablets, pint of milk! Wonderful! Spotlessly clean! Netflix & wifi available.
Huge hot tub!
Lots of wardrobe space. Recycling bins.
Lots to explore in Suffolk. Nature walk on the doorstep. Highly recommended!

Had a lovely relaxing weekend here. There are only two lodges on site, and they are a distance apart, so both have privacy.  Ours was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and equipped to a very high standard.  A thoughtful welcome pack was provided, butter, jam, milk, cider, and homemade bread.  The bed may be a little hard for some, but we found it perfect.  The hosts are unobtrusive, but there if you need them.  The hot tub was an added bonus.  Lots of walks nearby where you will see an abundance of wildlife.  If you want peace, quiet, and skies where you can see an abundance of stars, this is the place.  We make a point of trying to get away every month and have stayed in many lodges like this, I have to say Laxfield Lodges is up there in the top three of all we've sampled. Give them a try. You won't regret it. 

Had an excellent stay, great value for money, lodge was very clean, nice little touches with home made bread and bottle of cider. Quiet area with lovely local pub within walking distance. Love the hot tub definitely will  be back in the spring.

Just arrived home from spending 2 peaceful nights at lax field lodges.
I booked the weekend away for my partners birthday and we were not disappointed.
We arrived early but thought we would let the owner know and to our surprise the lodge was ready and we were given the key. 
Very spacious lodge with WiFi and a hot tub. A fresh homemade loaf of bread was on the side in the kitchen which was a nice touch.
It is a self catering lodge and just a tip if you are self catering grab your shopping on the way because you are quite a way from a supermarket.
Peace and tranquillity is 2 words I would use in describing the setting.
We used the hot tub several times and explored local villages in our 2 days there. 
I would like to thank the owners for a lovely weekend.
If you want to get away and just chill this is the place.

we have been here three times and absolutely LOVE it,and certainly can not wait to stay again,very comfortable, clean,and the hot tub is great,our welcome was great lovely owners and  lovely fresh bread butter and jams also a bottle of cider left.It is certainly my idea of heaven for the peace and quiet,the walks space and relaxation,we have booked for next year but hopefully will go back in September this year.

What a beautiful relaxing peaceful place! Great facilities, great size for 4 people. The host Gary was lovely and friendly, happily recommending places to eat and visit. The home-made bread, milk, cider, jam and butter provided was a lovely touch. Thank you, we will definitely be returning. From four happy & relaxed mum's!

We stayed here for 3 nights and it couldn’t of been more perfect! Gary was so lovely and welcoming, scenic views that are gorgeous to wake up to, hot tub was fantastic. Rainy weather didn’t damper this getaway at all! Lots of local pubs near by, aviation museum definitely a must! Can’t express how wonderful this place is, just make sure to bring a pen so you can fill out the guest book - 100% will be returning.

We like to hideaway and do as little as possible at the end of each year and Laxfield lodges certainly did the job.

Clean, spacious with everything you need. Hot tub was great and lodge was provided with plenty of info.

A perfect week quiet, superb surroundings,  hot tub, owner Gary very helpful lots of info supplied as to where to eat, places to visit, local amenities and more fully enjoyed by my wife and I and the dog. Have booked for next year

Great stay in a superb lodge. Place is perfect for a relaxing get away. Dog friendly. Friendly and clean. I can't think of anything negative about the place. Lodges are equipped with everything you need. And Wi-Fi actually worked. That's a first. I'd love to go back in the summer.

Mum's weekend away

It has been a pleasant weekend here, we arrived on a Friday and left Sunday. Could easily stay here a couple of days more just to continue relaxing and travelling further to see different places. We stayed in the Sunrise lodge. Was clean, spacious, and well equipped. The hosts had thought of everything- and were very welcoming when we arrived. We got given some suggestions of places to eat or visit and freshly baked bread (was lovely!) and tea, coffee and milk. The shower was really lovely, didn’t realise it came with an en-suite shower in the main bedroom so that was a really nice surprise! The bed was really comfortable. There were only 2 of us so can’t comment on the twin bedroom but that looked clean and looked perfect for children. Towels were provided including separate towels for the hot tub. Hot tub was very easy to use and comes with detailed instructions so you can’t go wrong! Hot tub was amazing and very well hidden to provide maximum privacy. It was very cold and windy when we stayed but that didn’t stop us using it 😁

Overall I’m really glad we found this little treasure gem. There are 2 lodges on the hosts private land. The lodges are built very well and gives you maximum privacy from one another and from the hosts. We visited Framlingham Castle and had some pub lunch on the Saturday. We spent Friday and Saturday evening in the lodge to make the most of it and just relax and cook dinner. 

Was a very reasonably priced weekend stay and we will definitely be coming back again! Thanks for a lovely stay ☺️

Short break, amazing stay! 

Perfect getaway!

Absolutely beautiful views and surroundings, the lodge was stunning and equipped with everything you would need. We came here with my 5 year old son who had so much space to play without worrying about safety. Outdoor seating and a fab jacuzzi! Lovely to watch the ducks walk passed the lodge on a few occasions. We visited a handful of lovely towns where you can find friendly bakery’s and bistros. Gary was very friendly and chatty! We are booking again for next year. We made so many memories here.

Beautiful holiday

Gary and Liz were there to greet us  when we arrived the Friday before Christmas. We had stayed in the lodges before and we were not disappointed. It was blowing a gale outside on a wintry day but the lodges are very warm and comfortable with everything available to make you feel at home in these luxury lodges.

Very comfortable and fitted out to a high standard

Great lodges for family and pets. Lovely walks right from the door of the lodge, seeing lots of birds, rabbits and other wildlife. The owners have equipped them very well, and the fresh bread is a nice touch. You really feel away from all the hubbub and pressures of life - lovely!
