Very friendly site and we stayed on the touring park in our own Motorhome.  We were welcomed on arrival and given a choice of pitches with electric hook up,   All the usual facilities were not far away including toilets and showers which were always clean. We were on grass and that was fine.
Lovely walk to a field with wildflowers and ponds which was ideal in the evening.
We only stayed here for one night on our way further north BUT we would like to stay here again as it was such a relaxing place.  I feel a return to Yorkshire coming on next year!

I was treated to a stay here by my family and my OH. We were put in a brand new caravan and I have to say it was absolutely blinking stunning. 

Although there was a wee problem with the water but once we notified Lauren and Scott the maintenance guy was at the caravan before we got back (can’t ask for better than that) it was soon sorted. 

Everything you need is close to hand, the beach, the rides and the shops. We had a wee mooch around the market and a shot on the 2p machines (no winners haha). 

Cant recommend this place highly enough. Sadly we didn’t want to leave but all good things come to an end. See you again soon Lauren and Scott, be good and take care, love Linda and Steph 😊

Lovely quiet  and laid back site. Staff were friendly and helpful.  There are two ponds to walk around with lots of wildlife. One with a picnic area.  Very dog friendly with two dog walking areas. Toilet and shower blocks spotlessly clean as was the elsan point. Highly recommended.

Stayed in the Kingfisher Lodge July 2021, we have visited the site before before but this was our first visit to this lodge. Our check in was friendly with plenty of information provided for shopping and eating locally etc. We were then shown to the lodge where all relevant information was provided outside, in a Covid friendly manner. The accommodation was well equipped,  clean and comfortable with the bonus of a deck area that overlooks the lake. The site is well kept and there is a nature reserve which is well worth a visit. There are plenty of Supermarkets locally but you really need to have a car to enjoy the area. Other reviewers have mentioned a lack of Wi fi and phone signals, no problem to us, but if you spend your life on your phone it might be a problem, but if you enjoy a quiet, peaceful time, this site is one to consider.
We would happily stay here again.

We came here camping for the weekend, The lady who checked us in was so friendly, helpful and welcoming.  It was the cleanest campsite we’ve ever visited the toilets were spotless from dawn til dusk,  We even saw them cleaning the climbing frame on an evening.
 It’s beautifully maintained. It has a gorgeous lake to walk around that has mowed paths. They’ve let the rest of the grass turn to beautiful meadow full of dragon flies and butterflies.
The campsite is primarily a caravan park but the field for camping is spacious, flat and the grass is lush (I’m not sure how they get the grass so full, I had grass envy)

We will definitely be back! Couldn’t find a single downside. Thanks for a lovely stay

Family of 4 (children 11 & 14yrs), stayed in Kingfisher Lodge (overlooking  the lake), as the name suggests it is a lodge, and is wooden inside throughout.  With the sun in the morning, was lovely to sit outside and enjoy breakfast with a lake view. 
Spotlessly clean, comfortable beds and a very spacious living area.   Had everything we needed (due to Covid no iron/hairdryer or towels), but knew this before arriving. 
Staff were friendly and welcoming, and the site was well maintained (clean & tidy), with a lovely nature area at one end of the park.  It was also very peaceful during our stay.

The only thing that may put people off is there is NO WIFI, and a limited phone signal inside the lodge, myself and son on EE & ID had a signal on the veranda, but my husband on Vodafone had nothing.   Saying that the same can be said for the rest of the Yorkshire Dales, unless you’re on O2 apparently!  We just watched a bit of TV and played cards, it was nice for the children to get away from the internet for a few days.
Really enjoyed our stay, would recommend, and would definitely stay again if heading to Yorkshire.

Been this weekend to kingfisher caravan park and what a gem this site is. Everyone was very friendly. The site was immaculate. Lovely walks and lakes. In a lovely location. Very peaceful and relaxing.

Kingfisher caravan park has become our second home. We own one of the lodges there and look forward to every weekend when we can get there and relax amid the beautiful surroundings of these peaceful, idyllic setting. Close by there are pubs, beautiful walks and the picturesque town of Knaresborough. It's perfect for us and our family.

Visited this site for the first time and we were not disappointed. It was bank holiday weekend and we were expecting it to be chokka and although it was fully booked you weren’t crammed in like some sites. 
It was beautiful and peaceful and we had loads of room. Gorgeous walks and the site is about 1 mile away from anywhere. 
The toilet block and showers are basic but spotlessly clean, all you would need. Very well maintained and clean.
We will definitely return.

a stunning tree lined green  rural park with many walks on the grounds and surrounding area. very dog friendly. first class customer service from the managers welcoming us and highlighting local attractions. nice touch of nature park dedicated to wildlife and prepared paths through meadows.

Lovely, quiet site. Set in beautiful grounds that are immaculate. Dog walking area is stunning, around 2 lakes and fields. We were sited on a large grassy pitch which were were allowed to chose from. Checkin was smooth and we were taken to the area by a lovely friendly lady.  Toilets were clean and ok.

Very nice clean site with flat well mown lawns, close to 3 ponds, walkable to Knaresborough 2 miles and a pub 1 mile. My 1 complaint was we booked our camper van in for 2 nights and the owner put us in a lovely sunny spot overlooking the lake. The next morning we drove to Knaresborough and when we returned, somebody had taken over our spot, the lady said "Oh, somebody must have snuck in there that wasn't booked" and instead of insisting they left we had to go to the other end of the park, nothing special to look at and the sun went down there first. Very disappointed with her attitude

Quiet, comfortable and clean.

Spotless & quiet

We spent a couple of nights here with friends in our touring caravans and it was a lovely break.
The staff were helpful and showed us to our pitch, explaining how the site runs and what was available in the area.
They were fully booked but a few didn’t turn up due to the weather being poor on the first day which was a shame. There were children on the site but they were well behaved, it was lovely to see them playing together but caused no issues. 
We spent a day in Knaresborough which is quite hilly but had lots of coffee shops so lots of opportunities to stop and take in the scenery. 
This is definitely one to return to. 
My little friend Olive checked out the facilities and was very impressed with the cleanliness and COVID procedures being observed.

Beautifully layed out site. Not falling over each other.  Run by George. Excellent helpful .   Location is great for visiting  Ripon,  Harrogate Knaresborough Scarborough,   Pickering and Whitby.  There is a bus from the site which you flag down. Small items to purchase at reception.  I would not really call it well stocked. Shower block was very clean but only 2 showers for girls,  there is only one block.
Fantastic walks around the site for your dogs. Lakes and woodland trails. There are owners static Van's on site. There is a rental cottage on site. Fees for seasonal pitch for tourer van is very reasonable.  I would recommend this site for adults.  There is a camping field but as there are so few shower blocks I would not camp here and the shop is not stocked.
