stayed just one night for a break, was fab, room was clean and tidy, hosts welcoming , breakfasts brilliant good selection, beds really comfortable, even had netflix on tv in bedrooms and free internet, would highly recommend thanks for our stay , we will deffo go back

Stayed just 1 night, prior to attending a cookery course.
Within walking distance of the town.
Warm welcome on arrival.
It was so quiet in the b & b that we did not know there were other guests.
Decent breakfast, but only served between 8.30-9 am.
If we go back to keswick we would stay here again

Decent b & b

The B&B is a 10 min walk to the town 
it's a terraced building with street parking 
Group of us stayed for 1 night in the B&B
there is a pungent smell as you go in and yes the greeting could be a lot friendlier and
the B&B is a bit dated,  but it is functional,en suite,complimentary toiletries,  Tea and Coffee facilities in the room with biscuits,  extra pillows in the wardrobe the room was clean,(it was a warm day so the window was opened) had a good comfortable night's sleep !
The breakfast had a  good variety of cereal`s, there was fresh fruit, juice, we all had the full english breakfast which came in a timely manor  with a choice of cooked eggs and as much toast as we wanted, no complaints from any of our group of 8 !

TYPICAL B&B

Had an overnight stay and was gutted when  I saw the room ....very old fashioned and very shabby. The sheets on the bed were spotless but the rest of the bedding left a lot to be desired and the towels could have done with whitening  .We  slept well as we were at the rear of the hotel overlooking a unkempt rear yard. We went down to breakfast and we were greeted by a male who, I think , wished he was anywhere but serving us .I  asked for my breakfast to be well done but was served very underdone bacon which I could not eat. We met the lady of the house who was very pleasant but as always we did the  British  thing and made no complaint. Will not stay here again

Not Good

I arrived here with good expectations which soon disappeared.I was greeted by the male owner with stains which looked like gravy all down his top!He gave me the key and walked away not a warm welcome.As I walked up to my room I noticed a pungent smell which was not nice and did not go away!The room was tiny and not clean,I did not partake with breakfast as I had enough of this minging place! Do yourself a favour a give it a Huge Miss!
