Our stay at Swiss Court was everything we wanted for a couple of nights away. Connor was an excellent host and cooked a great full English breakfast. The room was cosy, comfortable and spotless. And the location couldn't have been more convenient for central Keswick, especially as we also had parking right out front. We would definitely stay again.

In ideal location in the centre of Keswick with its own handy parking outside the door, but not for anyone who cannot manage steps.
The rooms are straightforward and unfussy and perfectly cleaned. Hairdryer and hot drinks tray provided. Our room had a large bathroom with bath and shower over ( my choice) but others have cubicle showers. Plenty of hot water and ability to control the central heating radiators is great when you have been hiking. A rack for books and anoraks just onside the front door.
Breakfast room is bright and welcoming and breakfasts are good.

Fabulous stay. The room and bathroom were spotless. Breakfast set us up for the day and the location couldn't have been more central. Absolutely ideal for a stay in the Lakes. Will be back soon. The view from the window was...... Hilly! All round top stay.

This was our second stay at Swiss Court, and this time was every bit as good as the first. It’s clean, bright and airy and the facilities are perfect.  Connor is such an attentive host (and fantastic cook)!

Exactly what you want from a Keswick B&B. Clean, friendly, well priced, excellent breakfast. The location is perfect. Hosts were welcoming but also left you to it. Would definitely visit again when I’m next in Keswick. 

The breakfasts were excellent and everything was very clean and comfy. Connor was a great host too (calmly returning the stuff I accidentally left behind). The central location was very convenient for all the keswick pubs and restaurants

Great location with parking. Lively well maintained clean room.

Great place, great location for hiking Skiddaw. Lots to do in Keswick and this is in a prime spot. Nice breakfast too!

A perfect stay in Keswick

A B&B we return to every autumn.

The rooms was very clean with a comfortable bed.  we rented the double room with the tub we were very pleased at the size of the extra long tub.  The morning cooked to order hot breakfast was a nice touch.  The host Connor was very helpful and provided suggestion’s on area restaurants and sights to see.

The room was clean and tidy and a good size for a single.  Plenty of hot water and a great shower.  Breakfast was good with a wide selection of cooked breakfast options. The location on the main road, close to a Wetherspoons meant there was some late night noise disturbance, and traffic noise, particularly being hot nights so needed the window open. Replenishing the refreshments in the room and shower gel etc for the second night would be helpful. Very reasonably priced for Keswick.

Overall very good and a good price but the location a little too noisy.

We were recommended Swiss Court by friends and found it great value compared to other hotels in the area.

location is great for local amenities and an ideal base for our walks out of town

Rooms are practical and well kept (we were in room 7), a hot shower and a kettle warmed us up nicely when we arrived back each day. 

We were on the top floor which meant a few flights of stairs to negotiate, a bit of a struggle after 2 long hikes but meant we had a great view from our room.

Breakfast was first class and nothing was a trouble for Connor. You choose what you want the night before from full English or lighter options and advise them on what time you would like to eat (between 8 and 9am).

Only issue was there are only 3 parking bays and we didn’t get one on the Saturday on our return but parked on the curb overnight with no issues. 

Would definitely stay again 

Walking weekend

Booked Swiss Court for my daughter Amy as it was central to all Keswick has to offer.She felt safe here and said it was clean and warm and breakfast was lovely.The owners were pleasant & helpful.She would recommend staying here to anyone visiting Keswick.It also had a couple of parking spaces directly outside which was a bonus

This is a great place to stay very near the centre of Keswick.

The bedroom we stayed in was well appointed and the bed was very comfy.

The breakfast was really good with plenty of options, and nothing was too much trouble.

We've stayed in Keswick a few times and this is one of the best, with its own parking!

Very Good Stay

Swiss Court is an immaculate guesthouse in a beautiful location . The quality of the food was first class and in particular the delicious cheese omelette ! Our room was well equipped and comfortable . Connor our host was very friendly and informative  about the town and area generally . We would have no hesitation about returning or recommending to friends .

Short break in Keswick to revisit old haunts and enjoy them again .

We stayed there this weekend and found it to be a lovely place, we had a twin room that was bright and airy with fabulous views to latrigg and skiddaw.  It was spotlessly clean and beds were very comfortable.   The breakfast was very good and the dining room is also very pleasant as was the lovely service we got from Connor.  We are coming back in two weeks time and looking forward to it.

Lovely guesthouse in centre of Keswick

We stayed two nights in a double room which was spotlessly clean and had a lovely comfy bed. We had a fabulous view of the mountains and the road leading into town from our bedroom window. The guest house is perfectly situated very close to the town centre but without it being noisy.  You can walk into town in literally 1-2 minutes. There are three parking spaces at the front of the property on a first come first served basis and a pay and display carpark just over the road if you can't get a space. The breakfast was beautifully cooked and very tasty and the host Connor is really friendly and welcoming. We had a lovely stay and would definitely stay here again if we were in Keswick.
