Great property location, very clean comfortable room, easy access.

Perfect location, close to everything in the city. Loved having a coffee machine and kettle in the room.Easy check in, good communication.Would stay again.

Blok-74 was an ideal weekend stay for us. The hotel itself is just off the seafront and within walking distance of everywhere you’d be likely to go in Brighton. Self check in was easy, our code was texted over the day before along with our welcome pack.The room itself was great. It was a perfect base for what we had planned for the weekend. The decor was lush, to the point my partner now wants to decorate our house the same 😂 Bathroom was clean and the addition of a microwave and fridge was actually really helpful! It is next to a couple of bars and we were provided ear plugs but honestly we didn’t need them.Our only small gripe was that the WiFi wasn’t great. Ended up just using our data but nevermind!We would happily come back again, thank-you for having us 😊

Such a lovely place to stay! A great location too, you’re pretty much in the middle of everything you’ll need. The rooms are so pretty and the bed was so comfortable that i struggled to sleep in my own once home! Will happily be booking again for any future trips!

Perfect urban jungle base

Good central location and nice room. Very thin walls, we were right by the front door and could hear every single person go in an out. Also there’s a club across the road that stays open to 3am on a Saturday night which is loud. Maybe get a soft close on the front door and let people know about the club when booking. Apart from that it’s a cool place.

Very small room but had all we needed for an overnight stay. Not so sure if someone was staying for more than two nights but that was just our room. It was at the top of the house which we had not been told about with several steep and small flights of stairs which for someone who has an issue with mobility will struggle with. Especially as the handrail is too low! Plenary of tea, coffee etc and an added bonus of a fridge. Shower good and plenty of hot water. Good stay overall.

Small but adequate

A very handy location just a short walk from the pier and about a 10 minute walk to the lanes and everything. Can get noisy at night time due to being near clubs and dat but they provide ear plugs which was very ideal due to noisy and inconsiderate guests on the first night but second night was completely fine. excellent and friendly communication from the staff, room was lovely and clean with everything you could possibly need. Would highly recommend for a cheap little weekend trip to Brighton :) If

The bed was comfortable and the shower was quite nice. The room was across from a bar and the hotel did supply ear plugs. We closed the windows and put on the fan for the night which led to a good sleep. Around check in time, there were a fair number of people in the area sort of hanging around in doorways that led us to think we should not stay out late in the neighbourhood.

We spent a couple of nights in Brighton and Blok-74 was perfect for a short trip. We stayed in the double room and it was very comfortable and had everything we needed. It was clean and we loved the quirkiness of the decor.It does get quite loud in the late evening/early hours due to the bar outside but we are fortunate to be deep sleepers and our room was further back in the building so it didn’t bother us. It was also so easy to contact someone if you needed anything and I appreciated that they check in via text. We would definitely stay again.

Great location right next to the beach and 10 minute walk from Brighton train station. The room had all necessities despite being small and the bed was very comfortable. However, I was expecting better standards of cleanliness. The tv remote looked like it had not been wiped for a while (lots of dust) and the fan was also very dusty. We would have also found more hooks for towels and clothes useful as there was no wardrobe.

Not as clean as I expected

We were in Room 5. Getting in & out of the building & room were by code,which worked well. I was a bit worried that the room door didn’t feel very secure. The room was absolutely fine other than a few blemishes near the radiator. It looked as though it had been pulled away from the wall & the repair was poor. The marks & holes had not been filled & repainted. I found black fibre dust in the wine glass. Luckily I checked before putting any liquid in it. The bathroom smelled damp, but I suspect that the driving factor was the age of the building. Unfortunately this room backs onto a courtyard that houses an industrial bin & a rusty barbecue. It is also used as parking. I was woken up by someone who was revving their engine in the early hours. The windows can be opened but as it’s ground floor I wouldn’t feel safe to do so overnight,  There is a fan but they’re not particularly effective so the room would probably be very hot at times.All this being said Blok-74 is in a fantastic location. Everything is walkable in a few minutes.I would recommend this accommodation if you don’t intend to spend much time in it as you’re out enjoying what Brighton has to offer. It offers good value basic facilities.

Fantastic Location

Hotel is in the perfect location just a short walk from the pier, station, high street and a nice longer stroll to the marina! Had everything we needed and room was very spacious and comfy.Only thing we missed was having somewhere to store our luggage before and after checking in and out, as we had to carry this around with us due to the automated check in (which was seamless!).

Lovely seaside trip :)

Great location near the beach.Enough space for 5 adults and 1 child.We were in the basement room, stairs are scaring.Rest was well decorated.Toilett was dirty and aging.
