We stayed at Torridon Guest House after walking the Great Glen Way. It's a very comfortable B&B in a convenient location within easy walking distance to local restaurants etc. We had a good sized room .  Friendly host.  Good cooked breakfast.

The owners are delightful - kind, friendly, and full of useful information about Inverness and beyond!

Whatever you do if you go to Inverness, stay here! Great location, comfortable and clean rooms, great breakfast and best of all, Russell. Russell is from New York and came to Inverness with his partner to buy, renovate and run this marvelous guest house. He is a font of knowledge. We enjoyed our stay and would do it again if we ever return to Inverness.

Accommodation was very comfortable, the breakfast was delicious and the location was perfect. The host was very welcoming and helpful. I would definitely stay here again!!

From the Torridon Guest House we walked to all restaurants; to shopping areas, along the Ness River, to Botanical Gardens and cathedral.  Our hosts, Russell and Ellen were gracious and Russell was helpful in providing historical and sites to visit in the area.  Our room was comfortable and quiet.

Friendly host, with lots of good information about the area. Supurb breakfast.  Grertrude the seagull greeted us around back when parking our car.  A fantastic place to stay.

Russell was very knowledgeable about the area and had lots of interesting information, great story teller. The rooms were very comfortable as well.

What a great bed and breakfast. I had put the wrong number of people on two rooms and Russell was very accomodating. We stayed in the guest house for two nights while on a five day tour of Scotland. The room was tastefully decorated, comfortable and included anything you needed. Breakfast was served in a nice room based on what you ordered the night before. It was wonderful. There were lots or restaurants nearby and crossing the bridge there were a bunch more. It was great talking with Russell and he told us stories and provided directions and suggestions. If i get back to Inverness, this is where I will stay!

Great owner and great place to stay. We loved it!

We had the pleasure of staying on the start of our NC500 journey. Check-in was a breeze and the private parking was easily accessed. Rooms were immaculate and we had an excellent nights sleep. Inverness city centre is within walking distance. Breakfast was pre-ordered and was excellent also providing a full cooked breakfast, and a choice of cereals etc. Hosts were great and were on hand with some tips for our onward journey. Thank you!

A wonderful guest house

Immaculate Rooms and Warm Welcome

A friend and I decided to join forces to do some off the beaten track sightseeing  in Scotland, combined with seeing some relevant museums and spening a couple days doing archival research.  We travelled separately to Scotland and met up at the Torridon Guest House.  We had booked the accommodation months ahead and were glad we did, as Scotland is very busy.  The Torridon was a great choice and great value for money.  The  twin bed room was comfortable, everything was clean, and the breakfasts were great. The proprietors were friendly and helpful.  I would not hesitate to stay again at the  Torridon!

Great place to stay in Inverness, centrally locted, comfortable room, great breakfast!

Great location just a couple of minutes of walk away from the main street. Very nice owner who did not only help us turn the car around in the parking lot but also gave us a lot of tips for the area as well as our  onward journey. We felt very welcomed and really enjoyed the two nights we spent there. We had a clean and comfortable room and breakfast also offer a variety of choices. If we are ever back in Inverness we would definitely stay here again.

The guest house is in a central location in Inverness. It is quiet and cosy, and you will be greeted by friendly and welcoming owners. The breakfast is tasty and prepared according to you wishes. And if you like, you will get helpful travel advise from them - e.g. for places you would otherwise not have on your travel itinerary.
I would book there again. 

Cosy, friendly, good location 

My wife and I were very fortunate to have discovered this gem of a BnB.  Russell and Ellen provided a great place close to the city center.  We spent 2 nights here immediately after arriving in Scotland.  Facilities were charming and comfortable.  Breakfast was delicious and Russell provided information about Clava Cairns and Coulodden that made our visits there easier.  Russell also booked us reservations for dinners at two restaurants which were wonderful and met our dietary needs.  The Torridon was an excellent first point of contact to Scottish hospitality.

Wonderful Gem in Inverness

The innkeeper, Russell, clearly loves his job and his enthusiasm is contagious.  The room was perfect with everything needed and the bed was very comfortable.  Breakfast was cooked to order and very tasty.  Location was perfect for walking city center.  Stop looking around and just book your stay here!

Exceeded Expectations

Russell was a really great host, very friendly, nice and kind. Big Room  nice bathroom. The house was very well decorated Scottish style. It is very well located, parking on site and  close from airport (15mins driving) and train station(10mins walking). Easy to walk to downtown area, restaurants and shopping. Huge and delicious breakfast everyday!! Thanks a lot we will return for sure

Russell and his lovely wife have the most amazing bed-and-breakfast. Full Scottish meal is included. My room was modern with a private bath. Spotlessly clean, charming with a very comfortable bed with plushy pillows. I enjoyed having an electric kettle and assortment of tea and beautiful china tea cup right in the room. Located on a quiet street of BNB’s and walking distance to the town center. When I’m back in Inverness I will be staying here. I just can’t say enough about this wonderful place. 5+ stars.
