We really enjoyed our one night stay and have left feeling refreshed and rested. Honley is a great village and Cliffe House is in a good, quiet location. The house is gorgeous and we were made very welcome. Excellent breakfast. We recommend the Lebanese restaurant nearby for a meal - brilliant. 

Stayed here based on the reviews while visiting friends who live in the area. Was not disappointed at all, was welcomed by the lovely hosts and showed the amazing house and then up to the Oakwood room. Such a fantastic room over looking the garden and with ensuite and large bed is was perfect for a luxury weekend away. Room was very clean with little extras in the room. 

Breakfast was 5 star and was even given a little gift bag when we left! Again i/ would highly recommend.

We loved our 1 night stay in this beautiful house! What a little gem this place is. We stayed in the Oakwood room. Simply gorgeous. Loved all the space and equipped with everything we needed, including a fab bathroom. 
Now to Pete and Deb the owners. We were greeted at the door and invited into their wonderful home. What a lovely couple, very friendly and approachable and knocked up a great full English in the morning where we sat looking out into the garden watching the birds and squirrels visit us at the window. What a treat!
Also worth mentioning the local village where we had a fabulous meal and cocktails on the Saturday night.
Highly recommend this place to stay!

We had to stay over in the area due to the loss of a very dear friend at far too young an age. Peter and Deb our hosts were perfect, understanding at our late arrival, even adding a personal service of helping to get us to the venue. They made a very difficult stay so much more bearable. Wonderful people, beautiful accommodation, interesting decor, great breakfast, cannot praise this stay enough. Thank you so much.

Chanced upon this beautiful gem of a boutique B&B whilst searching the site for a bed following a gig at the Picturedome. What Can I say.... An absolute gem. The hosts are attentive with excellent communication and the attention to detail in this beautiful property is second to none. We stayed in the attic room under the eaves... Listening to the rain pitter pattering on the velux... Soooo cozy.
Fabulous full English in the morning in a sumptuous dining room. Cannot wait to get back there and explore the village.... First class. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ for sure.

What an absolutely fabulous place to stay!Lovely owners who couldn't do enough or be more helpful. Beautiful bedroom and the breakfast room is exquisite. The full English breakfast is very tasty and all locally sourced. Will highly recommend the Cliffe House to everyone.

Went to stay in the village I was born in July before visiting Europe. Found a lovely place to stay for 4 days. 
Pete and Deb were very easy to deal with by e mail when booking from NZ and the same in person. Was a lovely place to stay, beautiful period property with the modern touches to make your stay comfortable. Breakfast was whatever you wanted cereal, fruit, toast, cooked at a time you organised. 
Very handy to walk into Honley village which has great restaurants and craft beer/gin bar. 
Thoroughly recommend and we will be returning one day. 

Comfortable and well presented accommodation, we couldn’t have wished for better hosts and location, we also had an unexpected room upgrade that was much appreciated.
Honley is a lovely village and cliff House set within beautiful countryside is only a 5 minute walk away.
Pete and Deb made us feel very welcome, the cooked breakfast was excellent and together with a selection of cereals and fresh fruit set us up for the day.
We would highly recommend Cliffe House and will definitely be returning.

Stayed 4 nights and couldn't have chosen better. Pete and Deb have turned part of their home into a very welcoming B&B, combining original with modern features and lots of little extra touches. A quiet and peaceful location within walking distance of the village with its plentiful excellent eateries. Would definitely return to see and walk more of the countryside in better weather. Pete and Deb are great at anticipating what you might need or want, but just ask! Nothing is too much trouble. They want you to enjoy your stay and for it to be memorable.

Pete and Deb were great hosts. Great B&B rooms spotlessly clean and a first rate breakfast (better than most five star hotels) from a dining room with splendid views. Terrific location, a short walk into the village where there are many restaurants.
