The Pelican Inn

Let me start off by saying I can be picky when it comes to small inns or European style hotels, we probably would have not chosen this place, except there was an excellent deal, and we wanted to try an authentic inn experience. I AM SO GLAD WE DID! Truly this place was a hidden gem. The actually pub itself looked like out of a movie. The owners were so personal and nice, the food was excellent. Everyone in the pub loved talking to our family and our children. There were toys in the corner for our 4 kids to play with. The whole pub experience was just amazing and great, and literally the food was awesome. The rooms I was worried about going into this experience but they were just fine. Definitely a little older and could use some updating, but the rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable and the showers were hot. In the morning there was an awesome breakfast spread (that was a charge, but it was really great!). I would say if I just based this off of the room, it wouldn't be amazing, but combine that with the whole experience, as well as the great value, it was one if our favorite stays in our European tour. If I come back to Stonehenge I am DEFINITELY staying here again! Also the new owners are going to be remodeling so I am excited to see what is to come!
