We stayed for a wedding and the service we received was outstanding - special mention and I am sorry i forgot your name the lovely Irish lady who went out of her way to look after us

We stayed in the main house and the room small but was spotless & really was more than ok for the night.

Breakfast was a buffet and was very good

I know people have said about not be able to book in till 2.30 and check out is 10am but this is a very busy venue and you can see why

Great Venue

Stayed here as part of wedding party and wedding was very nice as was meal. Drinks v overpriced. Grounds nice too with field with cows in next door. We didnt check in before wedding as assumed not open...after main drinks over went to where thought reception would be to find area locked up...another guest heard me trying door and let me in only to find area deserted with no signs stating what to do...so went back to wedding and asked staff who said to go to bar...got key and brief breakfast 0830-0930....nothing in room to give u info on where this might be...room large and nicely decorated..bed a little soft and pillows too but comfy enough. Bathroom large but only one small towel by sink so nothing to dry hair. 
Breakfast was a fast with everyone piling in together and wouldnt have been 2 seats together if my partner had come down too. Food was nice but a buffet style. Plates taken away as last mouthful eaten...1 hr to feed all rooms not long
It seems noone from hotel reads these comments as has been same sort of issues for years and nothing improves. 
1 - clearer info on checkin and if reception unmanned a note on door stating what to do
2- in room info to tell u of arrangements and inform of free wifi that didnt need a code
3- enough small towels to match guests

In summary nice venue for wedding but if u can stay elsewhere might be better value.

Lovely location..overpriced rooms

Very overpriced for what we got. Room was tiny and in desperate need of a makeover. Stuffy and not able to open the window. Very poor tea tray selection. For what we paid we were NOT impressed at all. Breakfast basic, runny scrambled egg, cold pot of tea....Room for quite a bit of improvement....vastly overpriced

Bland accommodation

Stayed in a family room in the main building, for a wedding.  Big enough room and clean.  One of the windows doesn’t close and I noticed that a previous resident commented on this in April 2018.  That sums up the hotel’s attitude really.  It all felt a bit “take-it-or-leave-it”.  There’s a Receptionist in the main building.  She was the only member of staff I saw other than one waitress at breakfast.  The Receptionist is very unfriendly to the point that she sees customers as an inconvenience.  Fortunately the bar and food staff were very friendly and helpful.  

The wedding banquet was in the purpose-built annexe.  The food was excellent and the bar very efficient, if a touch expensive.  Breakfast in the main house, though, was a rather different affair.  We hadn’t realised it was only available between 8.30-9.30, and only just arrived in time. The food was all self-service, kept warm under heat lamps.  Once again, it all seemed rather take-it-or-leave-it.  A choice of bacon, beans, tomatoes, sausages, scrambled eggs, mushrooms.  The sausages were very good.  The scrambled eggs were inedible.  I think everything was put out at 8.30 and just left there.  It was all very underwhelming.

The wedding itself was in a purpose-built barn.  There’s a lovely picture window that frames the ceremony with beautiful views over Cotswold countryside. 

We were fortunate enough to stay at the wedding venue, because it’s practically impossible to get taxis and it’s quite remote.  But it’s not somewhere I enjoyed staying, but it served a purpose.

One other thing to note, you have to check out by 10.00.......after a wedding!  This hotel has no concept of customer service.  Only use it if you have no option!

Beautiful building and grounds, but over-priced and poor customer service.

Undecorated room, no heating, no carpet, no chair or wardrobe, no TV - just a bed with a small table and kettle.  Shower was working (and heated) however.
Utterly unwelcoming and extremely overpriced.  The website photos of accommodation are not representative of our experience here.  Breakfast was self-service and pre-cooked under 3 heat lamps. Very disappointing, especially as 4 minutes drive away is Wyck Hill House Hotel (where we stayed the night before the wedding at Hyde Barn at Fosse Manor Hotel); whose accommodation was far superior with all the anticipated facilities in a huge ensuite room for less money than Fosse Manor charged.  We cannot recommend this accommodation.
