YOTELAIR London Gatwick

Compact but with everything you need, toilet, shower, desk + hairdryer,  single bed was a good size, not one of those cabin size beds, very comfortable. Free tes available which was excellent didn't have to wait to get to main airport for my morning cuppa! Location is inside thr airport next to weatherspoons via lift, its easily found with signs. First time user, would definitely use again!!

Shattered coming back late from Berlin and did not want to cart my luggage across London and on the train.

The room was compact, clean and with everything I needed to sleep between 23.00 and 6.30. Complimentary coffee in reception, helpful staff in the evening, quick check out in the morning.

The receptionist on arrival was quite grumpy and not very friendly, but the guy who was on the desk later was nice (although he stunk of weed!) 

Location is perfect - right within Gatwick airport. 

The cabin rooms are brilliant - small but very clean and comfortable.

Of course the room is not very big! But that said, it was ideal for an overnight stay and there was everything you needed - including a free cup of (instant) coffee in the morning from ‘mission control’. It’s 5 minutes to the security area for departures - our best Gatwick experience ever!

Stayed here prior to a 6am flight & it was perfect. Completely quiet, secure and clean & great to already be in the airport in the morning. The room is tiny but very efficient use of space. Would stay again.

Its really convenient as the hotel is Inside the terminal, 100 meters from the terminal shuttle train to jump across is you need for your flight and has cafe's / shops right outside the lift. Super cool theme too!



Needed an airport hotel for a 5.45 am flight check in so tried Yotelair Gatwick. Could not have been closer to check in which was great when we got up. Friendly reception. Room compact but comfortable with good soundproofing. Would use again

Excellent service,  very clean, comfortable and made my 9 hour transit alot easier. Room was excellent! Comfortable and staff were very welcoming and helpful. Will definitely be booking again and recommending.

Found this on Bookings.com when looking for somewhere to stay for an early flight. Images looked  interesting and the Hotel is right on the South Terminal near Arrivals. How they got the excellent accommodation in such a small space is amazing. The bed was very comfortable and the shower and washing space is extremely well appointed and clean.

It’s located literally in the South Terminal, the layout/design is great, and the pods are comfortable, clean, bigger than i’d anticipated and overall provided everything I needed for a pre-flight stop-over.
Will definitely be staying there again.
And the staff were excellent too.

Late night flight arrival, comfort in a pod

Location location location

Booked a 5 hour rest break at Yotel Gatwick following a 12 hour overnight flight (arriving just after 5am) as we were unsure how much sleep we would manage during flight. It was easy to find Yotel (pretty much opposite the exit from the arrivals area) so no sooner had we landed and clear immigration and baggage reclaim than we were at Mission Control (reception).

Pod (room) was easy to locate and ready with fresh bedding and towels in bathroom. Storage under bed was good for our two main cases and all other baggage easily accommodated by side of bed. Soon able to rest on bed (bit on high side to accommodate luggage beneath) with good TV to aide relaxation.

We didn’t purchase any food from hotel (but menu looked sufficient for quick meal) as I nipped back into terminal and got a sandwich and drink from M&S.

Managed a few hours sleep (no sound interference from other rooms or corridor) and left just before lunchtime to drive home (3 hour drive).

Would definitely consider using again for short booking (not sure I’d want to use for a full overnight stay) as it is ideally placed in terminal building for break between flights or before driving after long flight.

Despite the minor issues like a small hole in pillow case and the hairdryer not stretching to the mirror, I would have given five stars. However, I didn't like the sign on reception stating Yotel is cashless. I would like the option to pay cash. This would put me off staying again. Shout out to the friendly staff member on reception called. Blaze.

Comfortable night stay for early flight

It was the first time I stayed at Yotelair and I would be more than happy to book it again. It was a perfect location since I had to fly early in the morning and I needed to rest for a few hours. The staff was so helpful, nice, caring and friendly.  The room had everything was needed for a short stay and it was very quiet inside the cabin, perfect for a good sleep!

Had a standard room and yeah it was small, like really small.  Add 2 suitcases, ski boot bag and a back pack and moving around in there ain’t easy but they are quite well designed. I actually found the whole experience kinda cool. Bed felt like a first class cabin with TV. Location is great inside the terminal building so makes early morning flight check in a breeze. 
Staff were great. 

Tiny obviously but well designed and kinda cool. Perfect location for an early morning flight.
