We visited Filey on the last weekend of August. We were met at the door by Adrian who was lovely and he helped take our bags upstairs to our room at the top of the house (room 6). After that we were allowed to come and go unobstructed. Breakfast was delicious and the couple couldn't do enough for guests; they really do work hard! Even at the top of the house wifi was good enough to stream Netflix. The shower was hot and powerful too. A lovely place to relax.
