A warm welcome from the very start. Our room was bright and comfortable and had everything we needed for our three night stay. Breakfasts were amazing and staff efficient and friendly. We will definitely stay here again if we return to Falmouth. Thank you.

Absolutely perfect! I couldn't fault anything with this hotel - had the loveliest welcome from the owner and felt cared about throughout my stay. The breakfast was perfect and the dining staff made you feel very special - nothing was too much trouble. (The fried bread was a little piece of magic to start the day!) Location: ideal for the train station and beach - and just down the hill is a Co-op - so very convenient. Rooms: spacious, well-equipped, quiet and comfortable. I look forward to returning!

Very clean, lovely crisp, good quality cotton sheets and towels. Rooms are nicely decorated. Breakfasts were delicious too and the staff were lovely. The owner, Gail, was very welcoming and friendly. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a bed and breakfast.

Amazing location in Falmouth with minutes to the beach, station or town centre. Gail who runs the family establishment and has resided here for over 60 years offers a superb service enriched with local Cornish hospitality. She runs a tight ship and keeps her staff on their toes to provide a service which exudes excellence to her guests. Breakfast is very wholesome which sets one up for the day ahead be it a days hike on the SWC or simply site seeing trips to the Lost Gardens of Heligan or fabulous St Ives with all its charm and artistic talent.I travelled solo and stayed in the most gorgeous of double rooms with the 🌞 beaming through the window in the eve ( admittedly I lucked out with the weather over BH weekend early May). Overall a superb stay and I genuinely hope to return.

The stay at Rosemuillon was very enjoyable and the owner and her staff are very kind and friendly.

The service here is just fantastic! Cannot fault at all. I’ve stayed here 3 times now and it’s the same every time. 

The rooms are spotless and well furnished along with the en-suite. 

A 10 min walk from the centre with all the restaurants and bar and 500 yards from the beach. 

Highly recommend!

What a very lovely place to stay. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great. Would highly recommend. Gail was so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Just a short walk to Ghylly Beach where we sat by the sea and had a glass of wine.

Perfect!!

From the initiall booking,  kept informed at every stage. Lovely owner and all staff so friendly and helpfull. We loved the room clean and comfortable and what a fantastic view to wake up to every morning. The balcony was a lovely bonus, being able to sit and relax and watch the time go by.We would definitely recommend.

Fantastic stay at Rosemullion Hotel Falmouth

Lovely owner and staff,  everyone was very helpful and friendly. 
The room was clean and comfortable and what a fantastic view to wake up to.  The balcony made up for no ensuit.  As we could sit and relax and watch time go by. The bathroom was just opposite the room and large room with a shower over the bath.
A short walk to the beach and lovely garden. 
And then it is also a short walk to the shops and many restaurants. 
We would definitely recommend. 

What an amazing stay. From the moment we made contact to check availability we knew that we couldn't go wrong by choosing Rosemullion. Gail and her fantastic team were amazingly attentive, friendly and really couldn't do enough for us. We went for the room with a sea-view balcony, even though the private bathroom was just across the hall we felt it was worth the trade off. We got robes and slippers and it wasn't an inconvenience at all as the bathroom was much larger than an en-suite would be. Breakfast was amazing and plentiful so much so we      were too full to have every day so curtailed what we had and they were more than happy to accommodate. Rosemullion is an ideal base to explore Falmouth and the train station and centre is only about a 6 minute walk.  Lots of places to eat and drink in Falmouth too. Check out The Meat Counter for the most amazing home-made burgers, you can eat in or order a take out. Will definitely be back and looking to go back to Rosemullion.

Amazing

We spent a week staying at Rosemullion, loved it.
Made to feel very welcome from the start. Rooms were well appointed, clean and comfortable. Our stay also included a cooked breakfast, which was plentiful and delicious.
The beach was literally at the bottom of the road and was covered by lifeguards, split between surfing and swimming. Clean and refreshing.

Very enjoyable.

A weeks stay on the coast

Just got back from a wonderful weeks stay at this superb Guest House. Gail and all the staff were extremely helpful and the whole place was spotless. Breakfast was amazing , the best I’ve experienced for a long while and the service we received from Marie was outstanding. ( she is a hidden gem!) 
The room was lovely with a balcony and sea view and a very comfy bed. It was an extremely hot week so room could have benefited from a small fridge to keep cold drinks but that is the only negative. We will most definitely be back!

We required a hotel at short notice due to unforseen circumstances and we couldn't have got a better place. Gail the hotel proprietor rang to say that due to the extremely hot weather, if we wanted to book in earlier than we had originally agreed, that would be fine.
We got a very warm welcome on our arrival and the atmosphere got even better. Karen and Marie waited on us perfectly, politely and with humour each morning and that is just what we needed.
Our room was immaculate and the facilities great. 
The food was exactly as you wanted, plenty of choice and served with a smile. (I can highly recommend the take away bacon sandwiches).
Thank you to all the Rosemullion staff. We will definitely be back, hopefully under better circumstances and sooner rather than later.

Excellent hotel

Had a one week stay here with my parents. I had a ground floor double room ensuite, next to the residents' lounge. My parents had a balcony room looking to the west across the Gyllyngvase Hill, but with a small view of the sea to one side between the onsite trees.
We received a very warm welcome on our arrival from the Proprietor Gail.
My room, located 2 or 3 steps down from the residents' lounge had a comfortable double bed, a corner wardrobe with plenty of hangers and a single bedside drawer unit/table on the right hand side of the bed. There was a usable desk with more drawer space and the tv in the room was wall mounted above this. The ensuite was quite narrow, but the toilet, washbasin and shower were well positioned to make the most of the small space. Despite proximity to the residents lounge, that space is a quiet space and provided no disturbance to me in my room.
My parents tell me that they were very comfortable and happy in their room located on the top floor, with my Mum managing to cope with the 30+ or so stairs that had to be negotiated to reach it. I spent a couple of evenings on their balcony with them, which facing westwards was a nice sun trap at that time of the day. I'm no sun worshiper and would imagine that spending a morning on that balcony would be very pleasant indeed ! 
The breakfast room was well set out, with a table central to it being occupied by alternative preserves, honey (and marmite!) not provided on your table, a fruit bowl and a display of the various cereals available. Fruit juice was already on your table and the extremely attentive staff made sure you quickly got your tea/ coffee etc and your order was taken for whatever hot breakfast you might desire. If there was to be a wait for your order, you were kept well informed of this and you were invited to help yourself to the items on the central table. A rack of toast was brought to you soon after your tea/coffee. The food was of a generous proportion and I have to recommend their scrambled eggs and the bacon, which was a real quality thick cut ! More toast, tea/coffee was consistently offered and no-one need leave without their appetite completely sated ! A nice touch was that should you not feel like a cooked breakfast, there was an alternative offer of a takeaway pack up you could eat later.
The servicing of the rooms was absolutely immaculate, everything very clean and your bed made up as if you'd just walked into your room the first time. Mum and Dad had a problem with their washbasin. Gail was immediately contactable and the problem was resolved speedily.
The car parking was well managed and no-one should be blocked in with two entrances/exits available. But note that one of the exits was quite steep and not suitable for low-slung vehicles, while the other was right at the top of the hill very close to the junction with the main road, so you need to be careful exiting that way and beware that no vehicles are turning left off the main road on to Gyllyngvase Hill.
The location is excellent, close to the Falmouth Town station where we had a train ride to St. Ives one day. And the excellent Gyllyngvase Beach is a very short stroll away.
Overall, I don't think any of us could have been happier, or better looked after !

Comfortable, Peaceful & Friendly

Being on a crutch. I had a wonderful  room on the ground floor 3 small steps taking me to the dinning room and  entrance.
The room was fresh and clean with en suite bathroom.
The Gail and staff couldn't do enough for the guests. There were so friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was another pleasure staying there. The food being freshly prepared.
In a very clean environment. 
The hotel and surrounds were bright and appealing .
Can thoroughly recommend a stay there.
And only a short walk from the beach and Falmouth Town.
