We have just returned from a 5 day break in Cornwall and stayed at The Milber  guest house....Could not fault it... very cosy, spotlessly clean and great value for money. The  couple who own it  were very welcoming and  could not do enough for you.

Really reasonably priced and a great central location. Our bed was huge and really comfy and I had a great night sleep both nights. Only negative would be that on street parking was never available and was a bit of a pain. This isn't an issue if you are out all day as you can park 4pm-9am for free in a car park nearby. The owners were friendly and we really enjoyed our stay and would use it again.

I've just checked out after staying 2 nights in this b&b. After finding the single room online for £30 per night including breakfast, I wasn't expecting much, but the room was lovely and clean. The small room (who cares, it's just somewhere to lay your head) had a kettle and sink and a notice letting you know where to find an ironing board. The shared bathroom facilities were clean. The breakfast prompt and delicious. The owners were friendly without being in your face. I would recommend and stay again.

The place is 5 minutes walking from the centre, with many restaurants and supermarkets around.

They offer a very good breakfast, with many choices.

The price is a bargain, very good facilities and clean.

Convenient location for town. My 6 night stay was a pleasure. Sue and Pete are nice friendly people. On road parking was no problem, i parked within 100 yards of the B&B each night. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Recently stayed at Milber Guest House in NewQuay.  Lovely accomodation, serviced rooms although small, clean and comfortable, clean towels everyday, friendly, nice and helpful owners, hearty and delicious breakfasts, close walking distance to shops and restaurants, parking out the front or if not parking area nearby.  Would stay here again.

Milber Guesthouse is a small, friendly B&B located about a 10 minute walk from the centre of Newquay, and about 5 minutes from Great Western Beach. It is ideally located for people who arrive from/go to Newqay Cornwall Airport, as bus stops are only 2 or 3 minutes away, respectively. 

I made the booking through booking.com, but as the landlady told me later they have to pay a 20% commission to the portal, so you might want to book on their own website (Google for milberguesthouse). It is a family-owned small business.

The rooms are adequately decorated, double and single rooms are available. I booked a single room which was very tiny indeed (about 5m2), but clean. Shared bathroom facilities were no problem at all, I never ran into other patrons who wanted to use them at the same time. On the upper floor, there are a small WC and a larger bathroom with a shower, both clean and neat. Operating the shower "automat" did take a little to get used to.

On the bottom floor you'll find a larger "living room" and a dining room with separate tables. Unlike other small B&B's they even have a breakfast menu that I you can choose from. Unfortunately I was on a diet at the time and only had breakfast once (full English, of course); it was decent. Tea, and what passes for coffee in the UK are available, also orange juice. No complaints there.

Milber Guest House offers free, password-protected WLAN in all the rooms.

During my stay I talked to the landlord (husband) on several occasions, and found both him and his wife to be friendly and helpful. I paid UKP 40 per day for my single room, including breakfast. Newquay is a popular beach town, especially with surfers, so expect prices to be elevated compared to less scenic countryside villages. 

Since I was out and about all day every day during my stay the amenities of Milber Guest House were all perfectly adequate to my needs. I recommend it.

Small bedroom ,mattresses to both single beds lumpy, felt the springs towels hard and one bath towel too small, I booked for 2 nights, no free parking as advertised, parking free on Sunday at carpark, wouldn't stay again
