Clean room, comfortable bed, friendly hosts who upgraded us to a larger room at no extra charge, tasty breakfast. A great location in the middle of Kenilworth, within walking distance of numerous restaurants, shops, and a supermarket. What more could one ask for? 

Well, perhaps a larger bathroom. Our room's bathroom was tiny. An overweight individual would struggle to enter/exit the shower. 

Parking is on-street, which wasn't a problem for us, but there is no private parking.

I'd definitely stay here again.

We booked to stay here as we wanted to visit the weekend of the fireworks. The guest house was easy to find.

We had a very friendly welcoming from the owners who explained everything to us and told us where everything in the town was.

We got given a parking permit which allowed us to park outside the guest house at no extra cost.

There's lots of nice places for food withing a close proximity, the castle is about a 20 minute easy walk and everything is close.

The guest house was clean, tidy and homely. We have no complaints over it at all and we would stay again

Bottles of water , tea, coffee and biscuits were provided. 

I definitely recommend this to anyone who would like a quiet weekend away for an excellent price. We will be staying next year for the fireworks again 


We stayed here as we were attending a charity ball in Kennilworth for the weekend. 
We arrived early but were allowed to check in before 1500hrs which was great. 
We stayed in the twin room on the 2nd floor. The room was considerably spacious and clean with toiletries and tea and coffee supplied. A hairdryer and iron and ironing board were readily available too. 
The guest house is situated in a quiet street and even with the room being at the front of the house we got a perfect nights sleep.  
Breakfast was full English. I can’t fault this at all. Tea and coffee and juices were also readily available. 
The hosts were extremely welcoming 
Would definitely recommend anyone to stay here.

First visit and stayed last night after traveling to Kenilworth for a car driving experience for my husband. Friendly welcome and bags took up to room, very clean and spacious room (2), hospitality tray with tea/coffee/bottled water/biscuits, good hot shower, a minutes walk to shops and pubs, breakfast was superb and of a high standard. Highly recommended.

Lovely guest house situated in residential street 5 minutes walk into centre of Kenilworth. Family run business offering 6 mixed rooms.

We had a nice comfy room with tea/coffee making facilities, free WiFi, complimentary toiletries and really comfortable beds.

Really generous breakfast to suit all appetites. Complete your request slip indicating what you want from bacon, sausages, mushrooms, hash browns, baked beans, plum tomatoes and any form of egg. State the time you wish to eat and it is all ready for you in the bright dining room. There is also fruit, yoghurt and cereals to choose from as well as toast. Fantastic!

A great find and easy to see why it is busy under the current management who took it over 7 years ago.

Booked Arden Guest House over the 'Valentines' dates.  The booking was easy, we opted to pay extra for the breakfast, which was super.  Before a personally selected choice of 'fry up' you could help yourself to cereal, fruit, yogurt and juice.  The 'fry up (grill) was served promptly with choice of toast and hot drink, all were very hot.  The room in which the breakfast is served is light and airy with super service and atmosphere.

We stayed in the large double room, which was spacious, warm and offered all the comforts required to help your stay more homely.  The information booklet provided in the room was informative and offered us ideas for places to visit or eat during our stay.

Parking was easy and the short cut alley next to the B&B quickly got us to Sainsburys and the local eateries.

We would definitely stop again.

We have just returned home after spending two nights in Kenilworth at the Arden Guest House.   We chose to stay here largely based on comments of previous visitors to this site and that is what I would take issue with – not the guest house, which for the price charged was excellent value for money, we enjoyed our stay and we have no complaints whatsoever.  It was clean, comfortable, nicely decorated and our room, although not spacious was quiet, bright and airy. 
However, I cannot agree with some of the previous rather ‘over the top’ comments and the notes below are only intended to inform rather than criticise - all the rooms are different and the experience staying in other rooms could be very different to ours.   Our room [No. 2] was somewhat cramped [for example the bathroom door was so close to the bed that it could only be opened by making sure the bedding was well tucked back].  The shower cubicle was tiny – no way could you turn around in it easily, the hot water took a long time to arrive and when it did was scaldingly hot.  Without a mixer tap in the sink this was bordering on dangerous.   Only one large chair was provided rather than two smaller ones – not uncommon in b&b’s unfortunately – are we supposed to sit on one another’s laps?  For a five star b&b I would expect fresh milk and more than one teaspoon – and a tea towel to dry it and the cups with between tea and coffee use.    Unusually, the comfortable bed had a mattress topper - perfect, and we didn’t need to use our own that we carry with us.  Pillows though were not great and the quilt was extremely heavy compared to our own.   Breakfast also was fine but not as wonderful as has been reported – choice of cereals was just granola, muesli or cornflakes.  Orange juice or water were the only juices on display.  Coffee came in a large cup but no refill was offered [although I am sure it would have been provided if asked].   The cooked breakfast was ordered the night before and was ready when we sat down in the morning.
We have stayed in b&b’s all over the country and we would certainly recommend the Arden Guest House – but ignore the excessive claims made by some reviewers – this is a good, well run establishment but it is not the one by which all others should be judged.

I stayed for one night in the single room. The room was clean and comfortable, the shower worked and the breakfast was excellent. It's very close to the centre of Kenilworth and I would happily stay here again

A great B&B

Pleasant enough but bit surprised by their strict 10 am check out even on a Sunday morning. So used to 11-12 that never checked. Was aware of a lot of noise and activity from about 8 am onwards but as I had a cold and wasn't meeting my daughter until lunch time i thought i would have a lie in  but at 10 am there was a knock on the door and told my tine was up. So please beware. Also steep stairs to top floor. Parking on road outside can be hard to find but more in near by col-de-sacs
