We have stayed here multiple times for an extended stay coming in from Florida to see family. We can’t thank Guilio, Chantel and all the staff there for their kind hospitality and warm welcome. It’s like home from home and it means the world to me and my family. The newly refurbished bar area is a great addition and the vibe is inviting and nice to have a drink after being out all day.

Stayed here after Boxing Day dinner with friends and didn’t want a long drive home. What a refreshing surprise! Such a wonderful welcome by Joanna 🌟. Great new restaurant area! Staff here are great! Recommend this hotel for business and family travels. Fantastic facilities for very reasonable price!

Comfortable room with all you could need. Helpful staff, especially Giulio who was kind and welcoming. Would stay here again. Breakfast was good too! Unlimited full English is some start to the day.  Held our luggage after our stay as well. :)

I stayed three nights and enjoyed the cooked breakfasts very much.  I asked for a poached egg and was happy with the result 

We stayed recently for a hen party. We had four rooms booked, and staff were friendly when we arrived and held our bags as we were a little early for check in. When we did check in, we had the whole party with us (including those who weren't staying) and we were... merry... and yet we were still made to feel very welcome. Our room was clean and set up as a twin, as requested which was lovely. Upon returning back to the room for the night, the Bride had recieved a gift and a card congratulating her on the upcoming wedding from Nikki Richard and team. Thank you so much for your kindness and hospitality. Would stay again.

Guilio said as the only one working both the desk and restaurant and was always very attentive and approachable, a real credit to your team.

Hotel as ever, provided the clean comfortable room I expect, with an exceptional bed and good nights sleep. Everything was just as it should be, including very good staff who are an asset to the hotel, except..... no chef on, and it was a Saturday night! I was very disappointed. we didnt have the time to find an external restaurant or to make a booking, so it was a grabbed sandwich from the corner shop on our way to our destination for the evening. I was embarrassed, as I had hyped the food in the hotel so much that my husband was then very much looking forward to it. I would not have booked this hotel had I have known the restaurant could only provide a microwaved curry.

Stayed in a twin bed room. I slept on the sofa bed and had high hopes as the main beds are always so comfy at Premier Inn. The sofa bed did not disappoint.
The shower was easy to operate and had great pressure.
The location of the hotel was ideal, right beside the cheap car park! We were attending a sports even at Riverside Leisure Centre which was very close by. We went out for dinner and drinks on the Saturday night and again the location was ideal. It was also easy to get back into the hotel once the doors had been locked.
The reception team were efficient and breakfast was great.

Premiere Inn Chelmsford in the city centre is just opposite Chelmsford Station and is really handy.
The staff here are excellent extremely friendly and helpful.
The breakfast is lovely  with a wide selection of food for all tastes.
We also booked for the evening meal the day we arrived, on their web site when you book you are told that some of their restaurants are only offering a reduced menu but unfortunately do not tell you when you book of that is the case in the one you are staying at, it would be helpful to have this information so you can decide if you would sooner eat outside.
The reduced menu in Chelmsford City centre was a choice of two starters and two mains, but we didn't go hungry, just a shame there wasn't the usual menu available.
The rooms as always clean as tidy.
When we  come to Chelmsford to see family this is where we always stay good value for money and always friendly staff from the moment you check in until the time you leave.

The Premier Inn are great hotels to stay whilst working away from home.

Staff are friendly, super comfy beds and great food, you really can’t ask for more.

Big shout out to Kerry….super helpful and a credit to the business.

Definitely recommend staying here and will be returning.

Guilio worked very hard 

The staff were extremely helpful and very friendly. 
However the room was less appealing. There were marks on the walls, areas which were unclean and not functioning correctly and parts of the furniture was peeling away.  
The social area was lovely. Bright and funky. The rooms would benefit from reflecting this as they are a little tired and unloved.
