Lovely stay, the staff are so friendly and cannot do enough for you. Location is great right in town centre. Food was excellent. The room was very clean and a good size shower just a shame the water was a bit lukewarm but maybe as it was the furthest room. Would definitely recommend a stay.

Great hotel, immaculate large room, super king size bed. Staff were very welcoming, especially to our furry friends.

I was made to feel welcome as soon as I arrived and all the staff I met were brilliant - nothing was too much trouble. Most importantly, they all appeared to genuinely care that I enjoyed my stay. The breakfast was delicious as well. I wouldn't hesitate to come back. Thank you!

Lovely historical pub and hotel. The manager was the perfect host and nothing was too much trouble, i was their on business and would come out my way to stay their again.

Lovely hotel in a picturesque village on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales. Great room & bathroom,  nice decor and comfortable beds.Dinner and breakfast at the hotel was wonderful,  helpful and attentive staff and service. Would definitely stay again!

Lovely hotel room, nicely decorated and the  bed was luxurious and comfy. Bathroom was okay, but prefer walk in showers. It was very warm at night and unable to open the windows, although a fan was provided. Staff are excellent both at the bar, check in and breakfast. Breakfast was very good, plenty of choice and served with a smile.

Great staff

Kirkby Lonsdale is a lovely quaint town, and the Red Dragon Inn compliments it by creating a warm, welcoming environment. The rooms are clean and are a high standard, the food very good on the normal menu, with the breakfast being exactly what you needed after a days walking and sampling the fine ales the town has to offer. All the team there treated us fantastically, extremely friendly, and a real big shout out to Sharon who looked after for at breakfast and couldn't do enough to make sure our stay was a positive one. Check in and check out a breeze. Will definitely be back.

Lovely, Lovely, Lovely

There is nothing exceptional about the place so perhaps not for a special occasion. Having said this its of a good standard, a good size clean room with plenty of coffee etc, decent quality and a reasonable price. Friendly and helpful staff.No onsite parking but car parks (paid) nearby.We used it as an overnight stop on our journey up to Scotland. Would happily stay again.

OVERNIGHT

The best in the village.  We have stayed in a few hotel in  Carnforth  and Kirkby Lonsdale,  but the Red Dragon inn,  is now at the top of our list. Covid ready, comfortable room big bathroom,  very clean, the person who welcomed us took our luggage to our room. Food was delicious and plentiful, all the staff were friendly and professional.

Super Red Dragon Inn

Great welcome and an early check-in as our room wasn't occupied the previous night. Both Dan & John were so friendly, welcoming & accommodating. Nice room on the first floor with additional towels to cater for not servicing the room over a 2 night stay, which honestly we prefer anyway. Great bar food and breakfast. Great location, car park a short walk away, charge was £16 for 3 days which compared to city parking is a bargain. Would definately stay again if in KL.

Great value accommodation.

Very warm welcome (registration was in the bar) and attentive. The room was spotless, comfortable and quiet.  We dined in the bar and enjoyed very much their speciality (and very generous) hot-pot.  Breakfast was disappointing.  It  is only served between 9 and 9:30.  We were asked if we like the full English - no menu offered.  Sausages poor quality as also was the tea.  Parking is in local public car parks which are free overnight between 6pm and 8am.
