The Daintry

Beautiful room with interesting art, comfortable bed. The manager, Sheila, was as friendly and attentive as you could want but not overly so. The breakfast was excellent. Five minutes' walk from the town in a quiet cul de sac. I'd happily recommend to anyone.

Exceptional Bed and Breakfast. Clean, welcoming and just the right level of attention. Delicious breakfast. Huge comfortable warm bedroom with sitting area. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Lovely host. Very comfortable super-king sized bed and a delicious breakfast, using many locally sourced items and home made bread and preserves. Free wi-fi. Close to town centre and a very quiet area. Five stars!

I stayed here with my wife and daughter after a visit to Alton Towers.
The room was spacious and spotlessly clean and included tea & coffee etc.
The owner was very friendly and took a few minutes to point out some local places to eat on a map she supplied. 
The breakfast was excellent and there was a good choice of cereals before you got a full breakfast. 
I would thoroughly recommend this place abs will definitely use it again next time we're in the area.

I honestly could not rate this place enough. Myself and my 7 year old daughter stayed here for a double day trip to Alton towers, which is only a 15 min drive away. Sheila was fantastic from the second she opened the door to us. Room was lovely and warm, exceptionally clean, a good size and very comfortable. There was a fridge outside our room with fresh milk available for our brews, and bottled water. One thing I love about getting away is the treat of a nice cooked breakfast in a morning. It was very fresh and delicious, and alongside the homemade bread, jams and fruits, the breakfast really did set you up for the day. Parking was great, anywhere outside the house was fine. we had a little walk into the town to get a few supplies from the local supermarkets and a quick stop at the chippy on the way back. The house is in a really nice loacation, no traffic noise at all, but only a short walk to the shops and centre. I just wish our Alton towers trip had gone as nice and smoothly as our visit to the Daintry had haha. 

I would highly recommend the Daintry and will definitely be returning on any further trips to Staffordshire. Thank you for a lovely stay x

We stayed at the Daintry B&B overnight. Spotless clean. Comfy bed. Brilliant breakfast. Friendly host. We would definitely go back. And would recommended it. 
Leek is a lovely town to have a wander around. Plenty of bars and places to eat. As well Rudyard lake is worth a visit and lovely to walk around it. 

We enjoyed staying here very much and Sheila's a very warm and welcoming and helpful host, including giving us some excellent suggestions for places to go out and eat in the evening, and supplying us with a town centre map to find some of the local restaurants. Our bedroom was nice and having an ensuite shower and bath room and a separate ensuite loo felt very grand. The bed was OK though we're used to a huge 6-foot double so a normal 4'6" double inevitably feels a bit cramped, and the room was really hot too - we should have opened the window, though were obviously too tired after an 11-mile walk during the day. Great to have fresh milk for our teas and coffees, and there's a good selection of fruit and decaffeinated teas which is always welcome. Breakfast was excellent, with fresh fruit, some lovely creamy yogurt, a really well-cooked cooked breakfast, and some some delicious home-made bread too for toast etc. Parking is pretty easy outside on the street too. We'd recommend this warmly.
