385 reviewsStayed at The Old Manse recently, due to going to the Opera House to watch a show. Wanted to stay in an independent B&B, rather than a large chain hotel, and The Old Manse fit the bill. Sam and Stephanie are lovely hosts, who can't do enough for you. They sent through a list of recommended places to eat in Buxton prior to our stay which was very helpful. There is parking on site, and EV charging points too. The room was spacious and clean, and the bed very comfortable. There is fresh milk for the tea tray in your room, rather than those LHT cartons, and other snacks should you want them! Breakfast was great, a really good choice of cereal/fruit/cooked breakfast items, along with juice and refreshments. Not far from the town centre, would definitely stay here again when in Buxton.
