We had such a lovely dinner catch up last night with our daughters at Kings Head Syresham in Brackley. Food was amazing from starters, mains to desserts. Josh and Alex who served us were both super helpful and efficient which we greatly appreciated. Josh has got a fantastic sense of humour too! 

We had the salted beef, patè and another starter then for mains we ordered the surf n turf of steak and half lobster came with roe, the pork belly with lovely crispy cracklling skin was delicious with apple sauce, the lamb koftas with couscous and chicken were all yummy and beautifully plated. The food presentation was amazing! 😋 A truly delicious gem of a restaurant 🥰❤️ Highly recommended to go but best book your tables in advance.

Amazing village pub that serves fresh produce. Food and service fantastic and very reasonably priced - highly recommend.
All dietary requirements catered for, regular specials and the best Sunday roast ever. 

Just had dinner with a friend at the KH. Had Arancini for starters, they were absolutely beautiful, and I'm Italian so I should know! I had the pork belly and my friend had the steak, they were both delicious and so well presented. Chips were to die for.
Desserts were also delicious and a feast for the eyes. And all this at a reasonable price. 
Love the way the pub has been refurbished also, simple but warm and unpretentious.
Staff are really lovely and friendly but unassuming and without being over the top, which is just the perfect balance.
The Kings Head fully deserves 5 stars and I would highly recommend it. 
Can't wait until it's warm again to be able to sit in the lovely pub garden too!

If you want top notch food at an affordable price, this is your place. It is not your typical pub grub, but more posh pub food... But none of this small plate nonsense - you get a good helping!!

We booked for festive menu on 8 December. Food beautifully presented and excellent. Good chef. All freshly cooked. The pub has been redecorated and furnished and is looking lovely. The staff are friendly and cheerful. We had a lovely relaxing lunchtime. Thank you King’s Head

British Grand Prix weekend. Visited the pub 3 days running. The staff are fantastic, so friendly and welcoming! High quality food and great vegetarian options. Special mention to Josh the chef for his wonderful kindness, giving us a lift the the circuit and then cooking us a fantastic meal! Josh thank you soo much!

Amazing value Sunday lunch, great lamb and pork with superb sticky toffee pudding and honeycombed cheesecake puddings, delicious, don’t know how they do it, delivered to your door ready for heating up, so great will be having again soon 

We had an amazing meal at The Kings Head in Syresham!! Oh my! The service was second to none! Food hot fresh and delicious!! Nothing was too much trouble. Extremely covid safe. We cannot wait to return. Highly recommend

Driving back from our recent stay down south, had a quick google and came across this place. Popped in for a Sunday lunch, which was great value for money, friendly staff that were caring and attentive. Would be on the top of the list if passing through this location again! Many thanks

Gorgeous Food, Fantastic Service

Amazing food!

Lovely pub, nice furnishings and decor. Food was very high quality, which you don’t always expect in a village. The chips were the best I’d had for years anywhere. Perfect consistency of crispy and soft. Pie was excellent- a proper pie, not just a piece of pastry on top. The menu didn’t list dietary options but it didn’t matter because the staff were very helpful putting together a great meal to suit everyone.

Incredibly friendly pub with fantastic food

Me and the family had decided to go to the local village pub for dinner. When we had arrived we had been served by lovely and friendly staff, very attentive. We had been seated and were told that the menu is on the board due to restrictions which was understandable. Our food arrived quickly and was very delicious would definitely Recommend the fish and chips, scampi, burgers and bulled beef in red wine sauce. They also had a great choice of deserts which were very lovely. Great location pub and
Great interior. Very good prices for what you have. Will defiantly be returning again. Will highly recommend to friends and family. Keep up the good work guys.

Haven’t been to The Kings Head for years but a friend locally had enjoyed Sunday lunch there and recommended it to us. So we booked in for last Sunday. On first appearances not much had changed (good and not so good). 

On the good side it was busy with locals enjoying a lunchtime drink and the restaurant seemed quite busy. The welcome too was very warm, our drinks orders taken and served quickly and offed a table to wait a few minutes to be taken into the dining room. 

If you’re wondering about the not so good there’s nothing too worrying. Although very clean the whole place looks a little disordered and needing a bit of a tidy up, I’m guessing is that as the reputation grows the paint tin and investment will come. 

The food however was very good indeed, out roast beef was excellent, very well presented, tender and absolutely delicious. Plenty of yummy cauliflower cheese topped things off. I think it was £10.95, with two courses at £14.95. Great value. 

Well worth a try, friendly local village pub with great food and judging by our experience and the other recent reviews well on its way back!

We booked here following a recommendation for our mum’s birthday meal. It definitely didn’t disappoint. We booked in advance as there were 7 adults and a baby, glad we booked as was busy and was a Sunday lunch time.
The little restaurant area was nice, service was good and the food was really lovely. Would definitely return for another meal.

Lovely Birthday Meal

My wife and I had been to the Kings Head a couple of times some years ago. The first time for standard pub fare (burger and chips, I think) and later, when the food service stopped, for the pizza van that used to park outside (you could bring the pizzas into the pub). We heard that they had re-opened the food service and booked for their advertised Valentine's dinner. We were blown away! The food was amazing, with a good selection beautifully cooked and presented options. The staff were professional and knowledgeable, the chef was approachable and enthusiastic, and the beer and wine excellent. It seems that the new owners have been there for around eight months and also have other pub/restaurants in the area, which we intend to try. Great value for money given the quality of everything, we'll be back.
