Great little find. Just been renovated. Room were small but immaculate . Literally 500 metres away from the Liverpool stadium. Shops opposite to buys snacks & drinks. Owners looked after us . Recommend a pub called The Church approx half mile up the road past the stadium for food. Well cheap.

Sue was the perfect hostess.  Clean room,  brilliant proximity to the stadium. Awesome pub for a beer and chat after the game.  Wonderful having access to washing machine and tumble dryer.  Sue was really helpful showing us around the area. A totally wonderful experience.

Our friends stayed here from fri 16th March until sun 18th March, we wished we had stayed here as well by the end of our stay in other hotel but there wasn’t enough room, the 2 ladies that run the hotel were lovely Sue & Shirley anything you needed
they were on hand till help & we where here couple times with are friends enjoying a drink, lovely ppl & gr8 crack defo be back again till stay or for few drinks 

We popped in for a drink after the Liverpool game. We were a bit concerned since it smelled like a musty basement inside but we stayed regardless. We ordered a cider and a pint to discover they take cash only. We were a bit short, my husband ran all over and couldn't find an ATM. The sweet girl behind the counter went through a little dish and pulled out what we needed. We were over the moon pleased and grateful.

Sue and Shirl could not do enough to make our stay as good as possible. The service was second to none. Whilst the bedroom was basic the kitchen was fully equiped for breakfast and as much tea and coffee as you liked. Shower room clean and tidy. My family and myself will definitely go back even if it's to say hello.

To me this place will always be known as The Stanley. Its one of my favourite pubs in Liverpool, a real local. If you're looking for a good chat with friendly people and staff and a right good laugh, then check out The Stanley.
Grat place on a match day, either before or after Liverpool or Everton play and five minutes walk from Anfield and Goodison.

Stayed here the 29th sept 3 girls lovely friendly staff made to feel very welcome by them and there locals will come back again  grate location only £5 to the center  staff go above and behond to help you out 

Girls night out 

Arrived at this b&b a little early and the place was closed, all the shilutters were closed and it looked rundown. After about an hour of waiting and phoning the mobile number given on the website, the decorator arrived to tell us the hotel was closed for the weekend due to decorating. We had to go and pay more money for a new hotel as we had no other choice sewing as the was no support at all from this hotel. However the decorator allowed us in to have a look at the place and it was Disgusting! Mould around the dirty shower, the toilet seat was cracked and hanging off the toilet. The place was filthy and Disgusting! I have spoken to the manager sue who tried to tell us the hotel was open at 1 o'clock, utter nonsense. No response front the hotel owner which is disappointing.  This place is not a hotel it's a stinking b&b which is rotten!
