47 reviewsThis tiny resort - currently known as Imagine Chiang Mai but soon to be rebranded as "Imagine Encore - a resort for men" is located some distance from Chiang Mai. For some travellers that may be a problem but as the local area has much to offer in addition to wonderful peace and quiet, the location is an advantage rather than a disadvantage. The resort is located inside its own walled garden inside another gated property. Privacy and seclusion are guaranteed. The Owner / Manager is a generous and welcoming host who goes out of his way to ensure that guests are happy and well-informed on local attractions. He is a wonderful tour guide, too. The five chalets are well-furnished and have excellent beds, a small kitchenette and a good bathroom. Decks on two sides of the chalet offer views either of the immaculate garden or of the rice fields and mountains. The swimming pool is small but adequate for the maximum of ten guests and the sun loungers by the pool give views over the rice fields and to the mountains. The resort is clothing optional by the pool - but in fact as the gardens are so private I feel a guest could be naked just about anywhere if the Manager approves. Breakfasts are huge and tasty and served in a large open-air sala with garden and rice field views. Highly recommended.
