Madi Paidi Bangkok, Autograph Collection (Marriott International)

I moved from the Metropole Suites by Hilton (Tapestry Collection) to the Madi Paidi Bangkok – a Marriott Autograph Collection hotel just under 2km away – and the difference was night and day (see review). From the moment I arrived, the experience was flawless. Even at a distance, the doorman noticed me and rushed forward to assist with my luggage. Check-in was swift and professional. Although I arrived early at 9am (after hastily checking out of the previous hotel), and my room wasn’t ready, I was graciously offered a temporary room – which I declined as it wasn’t necessary. Instead, I was invited to enjoy one of the most sumptuous breakfasts I’ve had in a hotel. Despite being built on a compact footprint, the hotel is beautifully presented. The interiors are modern, tasteful, and thoughtfully designed. Every space feels intentional and well-executed. Service, as expected in Bangkok, was outstanding – but this property takes it a step further. The staff deliver a level of personalised attention that rivals much larger establishments. My room was well laid out, modern, and made excellent use of space. In short: a superb boutique hotel that offers the charm of a personalised stay backed by the quality and reliability of a major international brand. Highly recommended.
