Baan Kong Homestay

I stayed two nights in this cute family run guest house. The rooms are clean and comfortable "cabin" style houses, arranged in a garden. My room had a large fridge, small old TV with satellite hookup, locking cabinets, bench seat, kettle, and a double bed (a bit firm). AC was very efficient, cooling the room down in minutes. Bathroom was standard "wet" style, with hot shower. Rooms have a front porch with table and chairs. They offer different options for breakfast, but they also left fruit, snacks, coffee, and water on my porch each morning, nice touch! Very kind and helpful staff/owners. They have bicycles for rent, which I used to access one of the farther temples, and they didn't even charge me for the rental. Location is perfect for accessing the ancient temples, with several restaurants nearby as well. 7-11 is a bit of a walk, but not too far. If I come back to Ayutthaya, I will absolutely return to this guesthouse.
