Stayed 2 nights in Jan 2017. We booked a standard room but was moved to a huge room with 2 double beds with view of the back garden. Could be because it was a low season and there wasn't anybody else staying except for another couple traveling with us. 

Changed to flip flop and placed street shoes in the cabinet before going up to the next floor. No lift (it is afterall a B&B) so it will be a struggle if you have big and heavy bags. 

Flooring is faux wood tiles. There's a small fridge, kettle, air con, a dresser, 2 arm chairs with table made up the furniture. The mattress is firm and pillows are comfortable. The free WiFi is fast and good connectivity (able to have video chat). Lots of light source, electrical socket points, bathroom is big too with wash basin, WC, and a separate glass in shower stall, water pressure is strong but the temperature setting is a tad difficult to set but once set, the temperature is maintained. 

Breakfast is provided. We had porridge with condiments (fried eggs , Chinese sausages, fried long beans and pickled vege), toast with spread (no butter or margarine though). 

It's close to the ferry terminal as well as the smallish 'night market' where we have our snacks. Lots of eateries within a 2 block radius so finding food is not a problem. 


A very clean and quiet establishment

Hotel has changed the name but still the same building ,around 3 minutes by walk from in ItaThao pier. This B&B is so quite and clean. The staff can't communicate with English language you need to prepare chinese words or some sentence but they are really helpful.

Feel like home

Rooms clean. Room without a view bad ventilation. Poor breakfast, plus: you can ask for scrambled eggs. 
For this price you have better options. Neighbour b&b has 9,1 rating with excellent breakfast for the same price. 
Cable is a 15 minute walk. Starts at 930 am.

Tip: go early to the cable to avoid crowds. Avoid weekends also in low saison.

Various boat tickets available 100 nt single, 350 nt day ticket. 

Richforest hotel: great ( Asian & European ) food. High tea 300 nt a person, dinner about the same

Places nearby sml are nicer. Sml: wonderful Lake, view spoiled by many hotels and a lot of trash in and outside Lake. 

If you want to take a bus to Jiji ask tourist information center for times. Bus once 2 - 2 1/2 hours to Jiji. Around 70 nt. 
Private taxi to Jiji around 700 nt

Near cable, market, 7 eleven, great staff

This B&B is located at Ita Shao area, which is away from the more commercialized and crowded part of Sun Moon Lake at ShuiShe. Highly recommend Ita Shao for those who prefer to be away from the main crowds, although it means a slightly longer travel by ferry or shuttle bus from ShuiShe.
This B&B is a short 2-min walk from the Itashao jetty, although suggest to ask the visitor centre staff for directions to walk there as the place is not visible from the jetty. But the B&B itself is not far off from the main shopping and eatery areas as it is just a 1-min walk away.
The exterior of the building looked ordinary, but to our pleasant surprise, this B&B is quiet, clean, comfortable, modern and spacious. We could easily access Wifi from our family room which is on the 2nd floor. The breakfast provided was the local style of porridge and various condiments, which added to our local experience.  
The service provided by the family, especially Mdm Chen, was excellent. She went the extra mile to see to our needs, and took time to converse with us during breakfast. Unfortunately, the family is only conversant in Mandarin and local dialects.
I highly recommend this location for couples, and families.
