Apart Hotel Garni Alvetern

We stayed here for 4 nights during our skitrip and the price-quality is outstanding. The hotel is owned by a very friendly, hardworking family who’s sole purpose in life it seems to be to make their guests happy. Always with a smile on their face and catering you our every need. Apart from the great hospitality and atmosphere, pluspoints were: awesome breakfast which included typical continental breakfast but also a lot of local and homemade products. For healthfreaks, they serve local yoghurts which grains, seeds, nuts, and fresh fruit (not from a can!) and they make your eggs fresh as you like them. Good coffee too. Then, the free shuttle service to the lift. No long walks with your skies or hassle with buses. All free of charge! Finally, the room. We had a studio which meant we had the opportunity to cook our own food and evade the generally expensive swiss cuisine every now and then. Fully equipped and very, very clean. Probably the best maintained and neat hotel room I have ever seen in my life. The complementary sauna you can book privately was a perfect wellness moment at the end of the day. Overall, everything at this hotel is up to the highest standard. We really appreciated the involvement in this family business which made us fee very welcome and made our holiday perfect. We will definetely come again (hopefully with better weather) and highly recommend this to all who seek a relaxing couples retreat or family holiday.
