The only way to eat in this restaurant during the COVID lockdown was to book a room in the hotel. Fortunately, we were able to get a room and enjoy two exquisite dinners over the weekend. Our window seating at the Lord Nelson, the hotel’s indoor restaurant, offered a great view of the lakefront. It enabled us to enjoy the sight of memorable sunsets over the mountains. On the first evening, we ordered a menu which consisted of a salad and a classic perch filet served with French fries. The perch from Lake Constance were the best that I have ever tasted.
