112 reviewsThe Grand View is built around an old British military building with new additions such as a wing of modern rooms and a restful atrium in the lobby. The older part of the hotel has real old-world charm - grand staircase, lovely wooden floors. Situated of a point with sweeping views up and down the coast, the hotel is ten minutes by car or "Van" from Kingstown, twenty from the airport, and close to many nesrby restaurants along the coasts. We stayed ten days and rented a car for five of them to get tonight's such as Montreal Gardens. Nice pool on the point. Snug bar where we watched the sun set every evening -- thanks, Michael! Owners were friendly an attentive as we're all the staff. Local art on the walls. Good breakfast selection every day - fresh fruit!! This is not a glitzy hotel, but instead a gracious and relaxed small hotel with a wonderful ethos.
