Our stay was truly exceptional! The hosts went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and their generosity was felt in every detail. The breakfast was not only delicious but lovingly prepared, and the rooms were spotless, quiet, and incredibly comfortable. We loved how close everything was, just a short and easy walk to the train station and the main street, yet still a peaceful retreat. Whether you're traveling as a couple, a family, or a large group, this place is perfect.

Ella Paradise

A local guy booked this for us and i would highly recommend,the rooms are comfortable and its very reasonably priced.The location is fantastic a few minutes to the town and more importantly the train station.The host and his wife were AMAZING really helpful and very friendly.....BOOK train well in advance we didnt and couldnt get on .the owner then drove us to our next destination for a charge obviously but very reasonable indeed....THANK YOU WASANTHA

Very beautiful and cozy hotel with a jungle view:) Perfect location! (near city center and railway station, but very silent).
They have best breakfast in Sri Lanka! Very tasty and huge. 
Clean and comfortable room.
I with my family spent 1 week there and we really enjoyed that place. Owners are very friendly and helpful. We felt like at home.

Lovely place with jungle view

My friend and I stayed here for only one night (as they were fully booked for the second!) we had a lovely time! Our balcony overlooked beautiful scenery. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was fantastic!

Lovely tranquil stay far enough away from the bustle of Ella.

Booked a Family Room and the kids loved the place because of the bunk bed. The room had a large bed, a double bed and a single bunk bed which were all clean and comfortable. The room and the washroom was spacious enough. Breakfast was amazing with loads of varieties consisting both continental and Sri Lankan. Hosts were very helpful and accommodating.

A simple and clean place for the perfect stay!

Stayed here for 2 nights. The place is tucked away and only a small sign showing where to go. The location is good to town however there is about 30 stairs to get up/down to the hotel and also up a hill from the Main Street but only a 5min walk. Staff were very helpful in organising a trek guide and giving travel tips. Breakfast was yum. Rooms are spacious and neat however beds are small.

Good location

We stayed in Ella for 3 days during our Srilanka trip, we checked in a bit late on our  first day, and since we were not able to find the hotel the owner came in his car to guide us the way (very helping). Google Map does not show the correct location of this place, its tucked away close to the Google Maps location. The rooms were nice cosy and neatly done. It’s a nice place with warm homely vibes because the hosts are real nice people, when we told them we are pure vegetarians, they arranged veg breakfast for us - whatever they could. Arranged milk for us late in the night and were very caring for our kids and us. Always smiling and welcoming. Had the best Ginger tea in Srilanka here at this place. nice location it’s nearby the main road, a bit of a walk like approx 300 mtrs.
Overall a beautiful small cosy place with best hosts for a calm holiday experience and within budget rates.

Warm host and Nice stay, Good Location

Best breakfast! Friendly management .... 
good value ...... very clean.....comfortable beds......quiet........cool climate so air con not really necessary.  3 min walk to Main Street and train station.  Not too bad for mid price accom.  

PRETTY GOOD OVERALL

We stayed here for one night and chose it as it's a 5 min walk to Ella train station for us to catch the train to Kandy the following day. 
There are quite steep stone steps down to the property but the owner helped us with our bags and made us a pot of tea on our arrival. Also as it is away from the road it's very quiet.
Our room was clean, a standard double bed with mosquito net and traditional furniture, I liked the fleece bed cover, temperature dropped at night. Bathroom quite basic but clean with hot water in shower. Outside our room we had a small area with chairs and table, a hammock and views of the lush plants on the hillside.
We had a very filling breakfast of fruits, smoothy, traditional pancakes, omelette and homemade jam on plenty of toast.
We thought our stay was good value for money, the owner was very welcoming and helpful and we would have stayed longer if we had more time.

Quirky, cosy, family run accommodation

This is a lovely and simple accommodation in Ella. We enjoyed our stay here. It is less than 5 minutes away from the train station & Ella's bustling center.
Breakfast was very generous, tasty and varied. The owner would even ask us the day before what we'd like to have, and we were not deceived.
The room had almost everything we needed, was very clean, with a spacious and comfortable bathrooom. All in all, it was modern & cozy. We also enjoyed the deck chairs and the private space we had outside the bedroom.
The only thing that was missing was a view, but we weren't surrounded by buildings either. Just trees and a land.
Housekeeping was done every other day, which was great!
Unfortunately, we couldn't stay longer there, as there was a price increase for July.
We highly recommend this accommodation in Ella. Great value for money, compared to the many other acc. we've seen in Ella.
