Aqua Fernando's Bar

I incredibly enjoyed myself at the Aqua Hotel and Fernando's Beach Bar. I unexpectedly stayed more than two weeks because I just didn't want to leave. I overnighted in the luxury and the standard room. Both totally okay when you look at the price and I limitless enjoyed the swimming pool. Interesting fact: This hotel survived the Tsunami. Relaxed atmosphere, fantastic beach, they serve good cappuccino’s!!!!!, tasty cocktails, cold beers, pizzas from the wood oven!!!!!, delicious tomato bruschetta. They also organized a beach volleyball tournament which was great. I lived life fully here. I found the staff to be attentive and enjoyed their various characters. I also thoroughly enjoyed a professional massage there. As a female solo traveler I felt safe and totally relaxed at this place which I appreciated a lot because during my travel in Sri Lanka it wasn’t always like that. I really had a great time here and met a lot of nice people. You only have to keep an eye on the crows, like the Dutch gulls in Scheveningen, they steal the food from your plate or fly away with your cocktail. I can’t blame those birds, but I fully understand why a safe unloaded rifle is occasionally brought out to scare them away. Looks more intense than it is, you should compare it with the scarecrows we use in The Netherlands. To be clear, I am a vegetarian and a big animal lover. I would definitely come back here.
