It was a superb place to stay. The rooms were very comfortable and spacious and the bathrooms were clean. The view was excellent which includes a view of Ravana Falls. It is very close proximity to the town and many different restaurants. The service was excellent. It was definitely worth it. Will definitely recommend it!

Beautiful little hotel up the hill from Ella town. Fabulous views over the mountains. Great breakfast, simple dinner but hot and tasty.

Easy walk down to town then Tuktuk back for 300slr.

Hotel is situated on a mount overlooking Ella and the railroad station. All the rooms as well as the dining hall have a wonderful view of Ella, mountains behind it, and a waterfall - a view you'd normally expect from a peak of a national park, not from a hotel balcony. The room was quite spacious and clean with a big comfortable bed with a mosquito net. Service was very good and food was much more tasty than in many other hotels, though considerably more expensive either. WiFi is available only in the lobby, but hey, it's more like an eco hotel, one can survive without WiFi in the room. The bathroom was a bit moldy, but again, in a place like this some mold is forgivable.
A good hotel with such a magnificent view that it's worth a visit on its own.

My room was one part of a two-bedroom-and-lounge chalet and satisfactorily equipped. The room was clean and - like most of the hotels I experienced out here - a double room.

The grounds are pleasant: the rooms have verandas looking towards Ella Gap and the views are excellent as the hotel is up a long steep hill from the village. I recommend a tuk-tuk at least when you first arrive!

The food was good - not outstanding, but enjoyable - and the staff were friendly and helpful. I only stayed the one night, but was welcome to hang around the next day until it was time for my bus south.

There is wifi in the communal area - dining room etc. - but not in my room. As usual, wifi speeds left something to be desired, but I don't blame the hotel for that.

It is easy, though steep, to walk down to Ella by road and attractions such as "Little Adam's Peak" and Ella Rock are both easily seen and accessible.

problems with pressure of water and with hot water, staff was little bit confused, wifi only in the main loby, but the position on the mountiens is very nice and awesome view they didnt have meals from menu, I understand in the mountains u can have a problems with supplies so no need to write it down to the menu

Stunning Views 

The view

Comfortable, Great View, Good Staff and Food

Positive: 
-Views.
-Breakfast with this view.
-Wifi was good.

Negative: 
-Employee that greeted us and then served us dinner was very weird and dry.
-Dinner was not good, the rice stank and there was no dessert nor coffee offered for a very high price, he then insisted we gave a good review.
-Room was dirty, the toilet did not work properly and the furniture was run down. 
- We asked for breakfast at 6.30 and it was not ready until 7.
