Located in the heart of Hikkaduwa very easy access to everything you need in the area adjoining the variety of food stations and pubs in the area facing the beach and the pool on the edge of the beach balconies facing the sea gives nice atmosphere to hangout 
staff is very friendly food in tasty place is clean rooms are comfy recomend for family, friends, couples, solo for any type of vacation

Thumps up for Wewala Beach Hotel

we were in a party occupying 6 rooms and unfortunately we found the customer service awful. It is dirty, even it is two star, it is not acceptable. One of our party lost his hotel key. They wanted Rs 10000 or 20000 to replace. By haggling with the help of a local acquaintance  managed to get it down to Rs 1000. We found rat excreta in bathrooms as well. If you are in this area be prepared to be hassled by street vendors and 'brokers' . 
Hikkaduwa as a town is full of tourists and as such the place is full of this type of hotels. I would recommend any friend to avoid this area and go to a better area down the road

No working toilet, shower only has one temperature and that's boiling bloody hot!! Couple of owners constantly arguing as loud as possible in the lobby! Massively tried to over charge us for laundry! Place has well past its glory days. Don't visit!!
