We were diverted here because our booked hotel had no power. It is more like a homestay apartment than a hotel; and we ate our first Sri Lankan "Rice and curry" here in the family dining room, while the teenage son of our hosts watched American wrestling on TV. We were the only guests, and obviously not expected, but our host went out specially to buy some beer to have with our dinner. This and the breakfast were good; and our room was large, comfortable and clean
