Green House is located a little way outside Galle in a residential semi-rural area, but is an easy walk (30-40 minutes) or tuk-tuk or bus ride (<10 minutes) away from the centre, bus number 381 Galle to Kiripitiya. You get to see real Sri Lankan life here away from the tourist areas. It is a lovely house with a nice garden, good size room and very clean, and very friendly and helpful hosts, but the best bit is the food - breakfasts are traditional Sri Lankan, and you can choose to have dinner on request each day - be prepared to diet when you go home, everything is delicious, and quantities are not small!
