This property has all it takes to be a beach paradise and doesn't cost a fortune (thus you should forgive some minor faults). All the rooms have a sea view, the pool is almost straight out on the beach, and the beach itself is spectacular. It also doesn't feel like a chain resort, which in my opinion is a big plus. Only two hotels on this side of peninsula mean that for most of the time you're completely on your own on the sand. And you can walk for miles without meeting anyone! However, when bored with it, you can walk or take a tuk-tuk to the other beach with more hotels and more tourists, where the sea is also much calmer.The service was very good. We had some glitches with communication, but that can be forgiven in this part of the world and of the island. The restaurant is reasonably priced (curry set for two for 1200Rs, excellent tuna sandwich or seafood soup in the range of 500). Breakfast buffet was delicious and abundant, however on the first day there were too little guest to organize it and on that day we were dissappointed, as there is no selection or menu to know what is available (can you have cereal, juice, some fruits? you have to ask for everything). The only fault with the service is sometimes their speed, or the lack of it.Overal, I would come back here for sure. But beware - apart from the other hotels there are not many options to eat or hang around - but the beach and the vibe is wonderfull.
