42€/night, small room with a shared bathroom. It did have an elevator from the ground floor into the main entry of the pension, but then I had to carry my bag up one flight of stairs, when I had specifically looked at places with air-conditioning and elevators so I wouldn’t have to do that. Also, no air conditioning or a fan, although it did have a window opening onto a courtyard . It was very quiet, nice owners, and about 15 minutes walk from the bus station. No frills like shared kitchen, laundry, or fridge that I could see. San Sebastian is now one of my favourite places in the world! Beautiful beach close by, lovely architecture.
