We booked a one bedroom apartment so I was expecting to be in their sister hotel with no sea view but we actually got a side sea view but were next to their generators! I was just glad to be able to see the sea. All beds were comfortable and apartment was clean. Leonardo Royal have 3 hotels, would have liked an information leaflet about what was available over the 3 sites. Didn’t find out they had a 2 for 1 on pints until day 5, think Gym was in lower hotel. Lobby barman was friendly but a lot for him to do when busy. Reception staff were always helpful. Entertainment team were good, very friendly. Coming up through lower hotel via boardwalk only left a small steep hill to higher hotel. Pool was a great temperature, would prefer no ball games! Higher hotel - No problem about getting sun/day beds but some are saved for too long. Seems like anyone can come and use the facilities, especially the lower hotel so probably less sun beds available. Would definitely return because of the setting.
