Stayed for 2 nights. Very accessible to the Metro. Gregario Marano Stop is right out the front door. Took about a half hour to walk into the centre of Madrid. We like to walk so it was perfect for us. Also the 150 Bus which cost 150Euro is right out side on the corner. It does a loop to down town & back. Very easy. The Hotel Staff were Friendly Efficient and extremely helpful. We had one minor glitch with the shower but when we told them it was fixed within no time at all. There are plenty of restaurants, Bars, Cafes, Bakeries, Grocery shops in the immediate area so there is no shortage of things to do. The Hotel room has dark wood which gives it that Old World Charm. Everything was spotless. The bathroom is all Marble and also spotless.
